The trick in taking a pregnancy test, especially when you’re hoping for a positive result is in the timing. It’s best to take the pregnancy the day after you’re expecting your period. That means if you’re expecting it Monday, take the pregnancy test on Tuesday or later. Take the test first thing in the morning. That’s when HCG is most prevalent in your urine.
