Tuna and Ants on a Log

Ingredients

  • 1 can Safe Catch Tuna
  • 3-4 Stalks of Celery
  • 3 tbsp Mayo
  • 2 tsp Dried Minced Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh or Dried Dill
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 5-6 Kalamata Olives

Tools you'll need

  • Medium Mixing Bowl
  • Chef’s Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Spatula

Instructions

  1. Rinse your celery stalks and cut them into 6-8 pieces for your “logs.” Pat dry and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add your can of tuna (**remember – if you’re using Safe Catch, do not drain) Use a fork to mash and break apart the tuna and combine with the liquid from can.
  3. Add in your mayo + minced onion + parsley + dill + lemon juice + garlic powder + salt. Mix together well.
  4. Scoop your tuna salad evenly into your celery logs.
  5. Slice up your kalamata olives and then slice each whole slice in half to create your “ants.” Stick them across your tuna logs and garnish with some fresh dill of you wish!
