i heard with the washing that its actually cheaper with disposable.. detergent and water bills and what not..wonder if those people were washing by hand.. washer.. or used a service!

When we switched over to cloth we didn't have even a $10 increase in our monthly water or electric bills. And that was with 2 in cloth. And as far as detergent goes...you'd better be using so little that it lasts you a good long time or else you will have some pretty useless diapers
![]() We went from spending, for two in sposies, upwards of $120 each month (one was still in the young baby stage of going through a lot of diapers each day) down to spending a total of $150 for the cloth that got them both through to potty training and then maybe using $8 a month in water and electricity to wash/dry them. |
