My RE just called and of all my bloodwork my plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 came back very high. He said that the test sometimes has false positives, so I need to have it done once more, fasting, but if it's positive again then 1) it's the cause of my miscarriages, 2)it's easily treatable.
![]() He's mailing me the script, so hopefully it'll come quickly, before I O (I have like 9 more days or so). I have never been so happy to have something wrong with me in my life ![]()

I am so glad to hear that you've gotten a possible answer! I know how long and hard a journey its been for you and I know how it feels to just want answers but not want anything to be seriously "wrong." (at least in an untreatable way). I really pray that this is your answer!!! Good luck!

That's what my sister has! She's gotten a couple of serious blood clots in her life and is on high-dose aspirin daily. She says she can't have children because of this (although this is probably the fourth reason she's given for not having children) and I keep urging her to go to a perinatologist if she really wants to try.
I'm so glad you got an answer, and for something so treatable! I'm really happy that you can move forward, although I'm sorry you had to go through so much anguish to get to this point. |

Yay, I hope this is your answer, and then you can get it treated and have a nice, healthy baby! Sounds odd hoping for you to have a problem, but you know what I mean!

Thank you everyone! I went Wednesday morning for my additional blood work, so just waiting to hear back. I'm allergic to aspirin, so that concerns me, but the RE had told me there were other things we could do - not sure what yet - so I'm still hopeful.

So happy you have a tentitive answer. They may put you on Plavix. I am on it daily because I had a stroke in May of this year from several blood clots that broke of from a hole in my heart and the aspirin was making me sick so they said to take the Plavix alone.

I hope that's the problem and you have your little one in 9 months or so.
