Default Pregnant while on the pill?

I'm so worried...I have been on the mini-pill since mid august...I take it same time everyday...no later than 1 hr late if I happen to be late taking it. I got 2 cycles in august and my last one was sept 25...it was nrml. I have been having cramps for the past few days, but no AF. I POAS a couple of nights ago and got a bfn. I am also breastfeeding. I'm so worried because dh and I really didn't plan on having anymore children, especially this soon. I wanted to know if anyone here has gotten pg while faithfully taking the mini-pill? I know I've been stressed out lately and not sleeping well...but in the past (when I was stressed) my body has been pretty resilient and maintained its normal functions. I just don't know how to deal with this...I'm worried sick.

Maybe its the birth control that is effecting the period and causing your symptoms. I would go to a doctor. But as far as if you are pregnant or not, you could test again and then if it still says negative then most likely you aren't. I hope you get the results you want

I was just going to post the same thing. Holy cr@p that kid is freaking ADORABLE!!!! Not to make light of the situation (and, by the way, I do think it's VERY unlikely but not impossible that you could be pregnant again on the mini-pill), but if you somehow were pregnant again, if you make kids THAT cute, heck, bring 'em on!

Seriously though. Sorry to make light of the situation.

*Jumps up and down waving her hands* Yeah Im one of those moms. After I lost Tristan I got on birth control because emotionally I didnt know if I could handle another baby any time soon that and I was single and being crazy. But then I met my dbf and even though I was taking the mini pill FAITHFULLY every day same time...I got pregnant and it turns out according to my OB if you dont have another form of protection *as in condoms* its easy to get pregnant on the mini pill. But if youve already had a BFN retest again in a week then go to the dr.

The mini pill messed up my cycles so much that at first I didnt think I was pregnant until I realized cigarette smoke was making me throw up. And I had been a smoker for a while **though thankfully had quit BEFORE Id even gotten pregnant* I took a test and wouldnt you know two pink lines! *For the record I didnt start smoking until after I had lost Tristan it was like a 4 month phase of stupidity I was going through after I lost him*

When I was on the mini-pill. I had a period for 5 straight months. I go maybe one week between cycles and start bleeding again. so yeah. The mini-pill can really mess with you.
