Default My story wondering if anyone can relate or if can help anyone!

I have been PG 5 times now the first was in 06 got almost to the third month and m/c it was suspected I was carrying quads that failed to thrive.I had a month off and ended up PG again this time we had no problem. My daughter is now three. We got pg again last Dec. m/c in the end of Jan. Took a month off got PG again in March and m/c May 1st. We decided we were going to wait a while like 6 months. Before that could happen we had an oops moment in August. I am now PG again for the third time this year. I reached 13wks today and am still scared out of my mind but am starting to let myself get optimistic. We had our 4th u/s Monday and everything looks great but I am still terrified. Can anyone relate?

I haven't had that many m/c, but I can still understand the fear and cautious optimism. I hope that everything works out for you. My fingers will be crossed!

I have had 3 m/c, but have also had 3 healthy pregnancies (found out I have a genetic mutation called MTHFR & I'm borderline for another clotting issue). Since I'm now being treated for the clotting and folic acid absorption issues, I am carrying my third healthy child (I had a m/c, then 2 healthy pregnancies, then 2 m/c and now this healthy pregnancy).

So I guess I'm saying that you can go on to have a healthy pregnancy even after multiple losses. Did your doctor run a miscarriage panel to see if there's a specific reason for your prior losses?

Especially when you've had miscarriages, it's always terrifying when you're newly pregnant. All you can do is take it one day at a time. I pray that this is a healthy pregnancy for you, sweetie!

I can relate. I had an uneventful first pg with my 3 year old then four miscarriages. I am 10w now and really just hope things are ok. I am not sure when I will not feel scared.

I probably will stop being a wreck when I'm holding a living breathing healthy baby

I can totally relate! I had a m/c, then was pregnant with my daughter (which 1 day I bled so bad I was sure I was having another m/c and almost didn't go to the doctor) 3 more m/c's (one even after seeing the heartbeat) and then my son. Now I am pregnant again. I have never had two successful pregnancies so I am scared every single day that something is going to happen.
I really just try and take one day at a time and not spend too much time thinking about what MIGHT happen.... it is so hard to do.
