Clarisse - thanks I am having another BETA today so that will be fun and so when they call with the results I am going to ask when can we do and u/s to see how many. I am hoping in 2 weeks

I know that acupuncture for a fact will help you be MORE fertile and create healthier eggs... I read that someone did IVF withough acupuncture and it failled and then she did acupt for 6 months and wanted to do IVF with her own eggs again and her RE said I am not sure it's a good idea we think you will have the same results and so she said no I did acupt for 6 months and I feel great. So she tried and she got pg

I hope you TSH leves stabilises and you can do great in your cycle ...

nostoppingme - yes my kids see me take pictures of my tests everyday they think it's so cool... I guess it's as exiting for them as it is for me

srh - wow rasberry leaf tea sounds pretty good I will do it next ti me thanks for the tips.

Purple - I went for my second Beta this morning. I can't wait to hear the results. Thanks for asking.

Wow BETA on Monday you mean next Monday that is quick girl... when did you start your 2ww if your retrieval was on Sunday? I hope your progesterone goes higher. My local clinic OB asked if I was taking progesterone and when I said "NO" he sounded worried... I said I did a "Natural Cycle" and so that's when he said we should do another BETA to make sure the nos go up It's nice to see someone who cares. My IVF clinic in the States I think never got my results I think my local clinic forgot to fax it to them so I will ask them to do that today

Way to go for more frosties... it really makes the cycle that much more relaxing... it's gonna work girl... you are in for it.

AFM - 2nd BETA today. Still waiting for house deal to know if the house sells, still looking at houses but for rent now etc. So busy busy.

So for those in the 2ww I have put a picture of all my test and at what stage I did them so if you want to know when you should or shouldn't test here is the link for those interested:

    http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3B01bS5aas.../s1600/all.jpg

Good luck to you all with your 2ww and middle or beginning of cycle... We are cheering for you girls.

Stacie - well that sounds good to me! I think I will try it!

Purple - I cannot WAIT to hear how your beta goes on Monday - it'll be here before you know it. I am hoping the increase in meds helps your progesterone levels and that everything is fine.

Helene - definitely keep us posted on your numbers! And thanks for sharing the pictures of the tests - that last one is REALLY dark! But I see a line in that very first test. I'll probably be testing as early as I possibly can when the time comes. I guess I better go visit early-pregnancy-tests.com and stock up because they are having a 10% off sale right now. If anyone wants the promo code let me know.

AFM, my meds will be here tomorrow. So exciting! They recommended I only get half of the patches now because my insurance will pay for another round of them after 4/16. I've never been so anxious to start pumping myself full of hormones!

4/19 feels so close, but so far away! I'm so glad a few of us are doing this together. That will make the 2ww SO much more bearable.

Yay for getting your protocol! One step at a time!!

I’m so excited that you’re starting. I’m especially excited that you, Stacie, and Heather are going through this together because you all have a special place in my heart.

That’s a great number! When do you go for the second Beta?

AFM: I have to wait until Monday to get my BETA because my retrieval was on a Sunday. I went yesterday for a Progesterone blood test and they called to tell me that it was low. I have to do 2cc of Progesterone oil instead of 1cc and 2 suppositories a day. I hope it hasn’t affected implantation. I really am trying not to get nervous but it’s so difficult not to worry. The only thing that makes me feel better is that we have frozen eggies. So this time I don’t have all of my eggs in one basket!
Well I'm glad they caught the progesterone level early on! You will be fine now that they upped the Progesterone. Whew! I am too so excited for all of us. We have been through the ringer over the past year. Really hoping our luck changes and we all get our prayers answered.

clariss - This is great that your meds will be there tomorrow. How exiting. And yes testing is fun of course when it's +... And you don't have to worry we are not going anywhere and will continu cheering for you girl until you get your BFP

Thanks girls for being so patient with my BETAs... the # 2 is 1071 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So today I found out why my US clinic didn't get my BETAs they are faxing them to my regular OB here in Ottawa. So guess what... he was VERY MAD and furious and said this is going to be a high risk pregnancy and he does not intend to follow me and I will need to be followed by a specialist cause I had my baby on December 12, 2009 via c-section cause MISTER didn't want to induce me when I said this baby wants to come out... I just hate him... anyways he always cancels my apts with my last one and so he didn't even monitor me then why would he do it now... I don't care. I did look online about c-section prior to going for my FET and they said that babies don't grow the uterus until the 12 week of gestation and that gives plenty of time for the scar to heal when it was done in the horizontal way... So I am not worried.

So BETA # was 426 and BETA #2 is 1071 so I'd say twins and I also read online someone gave birth twice in the same year via c-section and the second time she had twins with no complications... so no problems. Lets just hope it's not more then 2

Thanks for the suggestion! I have a consult with the RE on 4/6 and I'm planning to ask him about injectables. I hope that will be our next step, considering what we've been doing is NOT working. My RE tends to be a bit conservative, which is nice on the wallet but it can get frustrating sometimes.

I really think its the way to go for you, funny my RE went right for the injectables, he said Clomid was too weak and did not like it. Good luck with your consult, keep us updated!!

I wouldn't last that long either. My RE has me do a beta 2 weeks after my trigger shot which has always ended up being 12dpiui for me. I go in on Tue for my beta (IUI was last Thu 3/18) - I'm anxious enough as is - I'd go absolutely waiting another 5 days .

    Good luck!

Anyone else in the 1ww w/me???

I'm going in Monday for my beta. I'm on progesterone 200 mg so i'm wondering how long it will delay AF if i'm not pg. This past Monday my prog. came back greater than 41 and they said that was as high as their lab reads.

I did the Endometrin progesterone suppositories this past cycle. I got AF 2 days later than I had the previous cycle. But I have heard others talk about not getting AF until they stop the progesterone. I was still taking it and AF came anyway.

I'd rather not have to wait for AF if i'm not pg. I really wish I would have went w/the Endometrin instead of these capsules that take forever to dissolve. I'm thinking it will take a lot longer for AF to come, although if i'm not pg then I will probably try and get the excess out.

Yep I am - my beta is Tue. Good luck Mon!

I was on progesterone supplements last month with my IUI - took my last one Tue night, had a negative beta on Wed and AF arrived late Thu afternoon (AF was due on Wed) so the delay wasn't too bad for me. I hope you have a positive beta so you don't have to worry about the delay.

Thanks for thinking of me. I was actually feeling a little optimistic recently which is unusual for me since I'm a big-time pessimist . I've had a horrendous day today and have been overly emotional so I of course started over analyzing and thinking that might be an early pregnancy symptom. I don't think that's really the case though - think it's just part of my grief. I will be in horrible shape if I have a negative beta come Tue though - the only thing that really got me through the last negative one was knowing my first IUI didn't work last year either. TTC is hard enough and adding grief on top of it makes it so very hard to handle...

Good luck whenever you decide to test - I hope it's a BFP for you.

New here... I visited a fertility center for the first time and am wondering what my costs will be for meds such as clomid. I have already invested a fair amount of money just on FSH tests, sonohysterogram, etc. My insurance does not cover any fertility treatments or testing. UGH!

If your insurance doesn't cover it, I think you can get Clomid at Walmart for $20.
