Isolt, I have a high stress job as well, and I took a couple of days off after the transfer. It was completely worth it, if nothing else for my own peace of mind. I barely even left the couch.
I am lucky enough to have a trustworthy boss who I can tell, but even if you don't tell your boss, I recommend that you take a little downtime.

this process is so hard. I had my first IUI on 2/14. I did not have a chance to come in and ask questions because it happened so fast. I went in on 2/13 to make a plan with our RE because of no BFP after 3 months of clomid. He decided to do an ultrasound and found a 24mm follie and I got a positive OPK that afternoon and IUI the next morning. DH and I are suffering from secondary infertility and DH has low morphology and just above normal count and motility. I am praying it works this cycle but my temp dropped a bit today and usually that is not good for me this late in the LP. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and hopefully we will all get out BFP's soon!
But we can now laugh about it.. Funny way to tell us this isn't the month. I feel funny even taking the progesterone. There is no way. NONE. no way. Better luck in March. Just thought you could all use a laugh. This baby-making stuff can be crazy.
