That sounds great, Erin. I hope the wait until October isn't too stressful and that you get your bfp on your first ivf cycle.

Tarabithia - Yeah for your DH spermies, something is definately working in your favor. Best of luck for testing day.

Cassandra - Glad that your 1st IUI went well. good luck in your 2ww.

Cariann - I am sorry your IUI wasn't successful before DH left, maybe when he comes back you'll get a bfp and spend the entire pregnancy together.

As for me I should be testing Fri but I think I will wait a few days and see if AF decides to show. It is usually my luck that I test and then she shows the next day.

Bailey is gonna be a big sister

Okay, I'm trying to figure out the math, Erin. If you're starting BC after current cycle...isn't October kind of far off? Hmmm.... Maybe your RE only does IVF cycles a few times per year? Or maybe I am just being impatient for you!

You are doing the math right They only do four cycles a year at my RE's office. I'm impatient for me too! I wish October would just be here already! Actually....I wish my 2ww after IVF was over!

How are you holding out Malf? Tomorrow! Eek!

Does this mean he only allows a patient to do 4 drug induced cyles a year or he only does IVF on ALL his patients 4 times a year??

He does four rounds of IVF on ALL of his IVF patients per year. So....all of us are going through the same process at once. I'm not sure why they do that exactly though. How often does your RE do cycles?

Is mine the only RE like this?

Well, I have only been to 2 places. One a major hospital in Boston and now I go to a fertility clinic and I am pretty sure they both do retrievals and transfers daily. At both centers, I would call them with my day 1, whenever that is and I start my cycle. They are open 365 days a year.

Erin, I start BCP next cycle, too! I think my retrieval will be mid-September, so we'll be very close for timing. I'm so excited!

Tarabithia - Nice count for DH! I have my fingers crossed for you! I'm looking into my crystal ball and I think that's a BFP I see! hehe...good luck!

Cassandra - I'm waiting for dear AF to finally show up. I'm a bit nervous about our first IUI which will hopefully be soon. I'm glad to hear it wasn't as bad as you'd expected!

Cariann - I'm so sorry that things have to be put on hold while your husband serves. I honor you both for the hardship that causes. I'll remember you all in my prayers!

I don't like the ones that give you a month in one box for like 20.00. I like the one or two at a time that you get because you can read it so much better. I know they are expensive though.
    My thoughts,

Good Luck everyone this month!! I'm definitly excited to be moving on to this step and am still very hopeful.

Hope you ladies don't mind me joining you. I'm staying on 100 mg of Clomid but going on to IUI this month as DH has only had 1 s/a and it wasn't that great so we're moving right on.

Anyway....I kinda feel like I'm on my own.... I called my RE the other day to say I should O on Aug 2 and she says....well we're moving our office Aug 1 - 4 so it looks like we can't do IUI this month. WHAT?!?! So I ask if there's another place to do it and she says no. So, being impatient and not wanting to waste the month I pulled out the Yellow pages and found another RE. Surprisingly they said - Sure come on in, we'll shove DHs spermies in ya (well she didn't exactly say that but it was close). Here's the question part, thanks for sticking with me. So far I don't have an appt to do an u/s, just come in to do the IUI on Aug 2....should I call the new RE office to set up an u/s...I'm leaning toward YES. So far the plan is once we get a + OPK DH will give me the Ovidrel trigger and IUI Aug 2.

    Thanks Ladies!

i know that i have a little bit of a different story then everyone since i have cystic fibrosis but after i did my iui i waited until day 12 to poas. which it came out neg. and i also the same day had my blood drawn to test, that also came out below 5 i think is what it said so neg. I have yet to have my period and that was two weeks ago.. my nipples have been sore since like day 15 or so, which they get that way when AF is around the corner... well, still no af! i am very irregular with my period but my dr told me that since i ovulated (tested pos on the OPK at least) then i should have a period... so i was wondering has anyone else not gotten a period but gotten a neg on both pregnancy tests?!!! im just not sure if its that i was sick adn went into the hospital and was stressed out and on antibiotics that i didnt get it or what... my best friend asked me if i had taken a pregnancy test since then just to rule that out but i havent! and god i hope that i am not at this point after all my chest xrays and antibiotics!!! I have one pregnancy test left maybe i will use it tomorrow morning just to make sure... anyways, thanks for listening to my rambling!!!

I had a big day yesterday. It was my CD12 U/S- everything looked good- 3 follies. I did my ovidrel injection last night (easier than expected) and we're going tomorow at 9am for IUI. I'm excited and slightly scared b/c pple seem to have a wide variety of experiences and my HSG was not a good day for me. I think it will be fine and even if it hurts it will be worth it. I also went to injectables class, in case we do not get a BFP and try that route next month. They answered so many questions that I had-it was a great learning experience (which I really hope I will not need!)
    Good Luck to everybody!!
