My husband and I were trying for two years before I sought the help of a doctor. We are now doing 50mg of clomid and I'm on my second cycle. I keep hoping it will work for me but sometimes I get depressed just thinking I may never be pregnant. I think the cmolid definitely made me moody last month though. I cried for 3 days before I started my period, I was a mess.
I'm also on my 2nd clomid cycle with 50mg. I ovulated last month but no BFP. My doctor doesn't monitor me other than doing an ultrasound on CD 22. Not sure if that will change in the future. I didn't seem to get moody on clomid. Maybe right after O, but other than that I felt fine.

Haven't been on clomid for about 8 months so here I go again. I was thinking it wouldn't be as bad as before and maybe I had exaggerated the side effects-WRONG!!!
Starting out with 150mg (sorry DH) and waiting for O any day now......

We had been trying to conceive for over a year when I went on Clomid. My doctor put me on 100 to start and told me that we were only going to do 3 rounds of Clomid max. The first month was ok..did not really feel much different, until I was starting my period. I had the worst PMS ever. I thought for sure that I was pregnant, but then I started. Second Round, my cycle ended up being 33 days and I thought for sure I was pregnant.....but then started. I was upset because we had totally missed our ovulation date, so for the next round I was testing for my ovulation every day. Third round did it! I am now 17 weeks along and we are so excited about welcoming a baby into the world. Hang in there everyone...despite trying for over a year and all of the disappointment...I have a hard time now even thinking about those days.

I'm on my first day of my first round of Clomid. I'm so excited and ready to see a bfp! My cycles have been so out of whack. Of the last 7 that I temped and opk'd, six cycles were less than 27 days, with 7-8 day luteal phases. Then this last cycle was 51 days, with no sign of o. Hoping that Clomid is my golden ticket. GOOD LUCK everyone!

Well, today is my 4th day of Clomid, CD7. Happy to report that I haven't had any side effects that I can tell. I hope it's gearing me up for a nice strong O!

Hey Kate! How many mg are you trying? I'm so confused about my cycles. For 6 months, I was having really short ones, like 23-27 days and way short LP's. Then last cycle was 51 days with no O. Now this cycle, with Clomid, I'm on CD27 with no O yet. After my losses and before my son was born, my cycles were around 40-45 days with O as late as CD25. So I don't know what my "normal" is anymore. I'm getting frustrated for sure, but hoping I will still O this cycle. I have had crazy EWCM for days, so I'm hoping that means there's still hope. If this cycle doesn't work out we're moving up to 100mg Clomid. Wishing you the best of luck! Keep me posted on how it goes!

I took Clomid 50 mg for 9 months... and got my BFP around the 9 month..
That stinks about the hot flashes and cramping. I didn't have any side effects. I'm STILL waiting to O...CD31.I'm not giving up on this cycle yet, but I do need to restock the opk cheapies. Dang, I've used a crapload of them with the past 2 cycles. Why is my body so mean?!!! Ovulate already, geez!
Clomid is kickin' my butt this time around lol. The first day wasnt too bad, I was tired which is usualy what happens. However the 2nd day I felt nauseus and had a headache. My husnband probably wants to kill me at this point for cranking up the air

Wow! That's no fun at all! I just don't think the Clomid is working this cycle. We're moving to 100mg next cycle. I really think I should have O'd by now, don't you?

No, this is my first cycle with Clomid. I can't figure out why I'm having these really long cycles now. I don't know if I should wait it out or ask for Provera to bring on AF. CD32 now and nada.

No, my OB is not doing a prog check. I got a positive opk on CD35! However, I have been sick and on antibiotics. Now I am SO confused. If you get a second, see my post over in TTC. Maybe you have some insight?I would maybe call and let them know. Do you have to go for blood work at all for a progesterone check? I think at least letting your doc know, they can make the decision to continue the cycle on or using provera and upping your clomid next time.

Looks like I did O, but I'm full of concerns about how late in the cycle it was. I guess only time will tell. Kate, looks like O time for you! Hope you catch the eggie!
