My lining was 7.0, which I guess is great for day 5 of stims. This news sure will make my next round of shots easier!

Yep my lining was just 10 yesterday at 8 days of stims. So you are coming along nicely!!!!

Um, I can try... I'm sure I'll be a basketcase, though. Especially since my insane MIL will be here all week to help us with my son.

    BTW, I'm a Kim, too.

Hi everyone! Thank you for all the congrats!

I was completely out of commission yesterday. I’m experiencing severe constipation and since this is the first time in my life that I have it, I’ve been in an enormous amount of pain. My stomach looked like I was 7 months pregnant! My Dr. said it was one symptom of pregnancy and that Progesterone can make it worse. I'm on the shots and suppositories. He told me to take Metamucil and prune juice, which I did yesterday. A few hours later I felt like I was being stabbed repeatedly. I was almost in tears. I started freaking out because I felt like I couldn’t handle the pain that radiated from my stomach to my back, so how am I going to handle labor? I go in today for my second hcg test and I think it’s going to be hard to find a vein because I’m dehydrated. Monday it took 2-3 pokes before she got it. I'm still really happy to be at this point, but boy has it been painful.

WishingNWaiting: I can’t wait for him to freak out!

Banphrionsa99: I’m so sorry. I hope you do try again. Here is the pharmacy my Dr. referred me to http://www.ivpcare.com/ If you sign up for their free program, you get an additional discount.

Nostoppingme, MissMagnolia, & Chartennis: Good luck!! KUP!!

Donna: Did you get your results yet?
Charissa: Congratulations again! I am so excited for you. We’re only a day apart!

    Kss717: Good luck Friday!

I hope I got everyone, I missed so much in one day!
    Me: 38 w/ PCOS, DH: 39

    Hi ladies,
I have not posted on here before, but i am on my second round of clomid right now i am 8dpo. My question is the first round i had a looooot of emotional swings, some cramping(Like AF was going to come), brest tenderness, and tons of creamy cm. This cycle of clomid i had nothing, no mood swings (Well maybe a little more weepy) no cm its totaly dried up, and weird cramps, they are kind of sharp and jabby, and the bbs are not sore at all, which is weird because since nov they hurt every cycle starting at 4dpo. I am really not thinking i got pg, i mean i have no signs whats so ever, do you think the Clomid worked? I know i o'd, i felt it (Although not near as painful as the last cycle) and i got a smiley face on my digital opk. I thought the side effects would get worse not better the second round. Sigh, af is not due until the 8th, but i am already thinking about the next cycle, i am just not feeling it.

Purple, have you tried Evening Primrose Oil? I mixed a small teaspoon into some pudding for my son while we were potty training because he was holding it so much that he became constipated. Within a half hour he was able to go.

If your nervous, call your doctor and ask if it's ok for you. I think it may help, though.

I am torn on when to start my clomid- I am still having a light flow..Doctor said to start this round whenever it is light or spotting.

Should I wait to see how CD 4 or 5 are??

I have no idea. Our bodies like to do whatever the heck they want. Sometimes side effects lessen once your body knows what to do with the medication.

I have heard many women state the side effects were less the second round.

jaime- I would take it as prescribed and use the first day of flow as cycle day 1. Even if you are still spotting...take it as directed.

He was not clear on ANYTHING. My directions for Clomid are "Start it when you are light or spotting"

So what if I am light today, but heavy tomorrow? Will that mess everything up His office does not have a nurse I can call or anything and I want to strangle the man

I know I am stressing over something small, but I want this to the THE cycle!

Hi. I don't think it is stressing over something small. I was totally there at one point. My RE's office actually told me to start my Clomid on my first real day of bleeding. (full flow) so Last month it was Day 4. I think the Month before It was Day 3.

They should follow up with ultrasounds to measure your follies, and will tell you how you are doing! I am sure you will be fine.

Does your Doc. have a nurse on staff you can talk to? Mine are great and take time and talk to me. They answer all of my Questions no matter how silly I think they are. They never make me feel like they are silly. Try to call your Doc's office say you are a patient and you want to talk to his/her nurse for some ?'s.

Are you on Progesterone too? I have to take Progesterone starting 2DPO. It causes sharp pains in my vagina area (not like AF cramps) and it causes the breast tenderness and mood swings.

The only Clomid side effect I ever got was HEAT Flashes like crazy. But that was on Clomid Round 1 & 2. Round 3 I didn't have any side effects. Well, I am sure my husband would tell you I was crabby.. but that might have just been me

Jaime...is there a reason why they did not prescribe it on days 4 to 8 or 5 to 9? That is the most common time to take Clomid.

mY doctor does NOTHING. And nope, he doesn't have a nurse- If you have questions you HAVE to talk to him, and he is hardly ever there. He isn't doing anything to monitor if the Clomid is working or not. He is the LAST doctor I have in my network as I have hated all of them, and I am about to call and BEG a high risk OB to take me

He said EXACTLY what I quoted I have been winging it since DAY ONE- Like I said above- I have no other OB to go to unless I beg a high risk doc to take me.

Why dont you try it the way it is normally prescribed? Take it on day 4 or 5 of your cycle and continue for 5 days.

That's what I was thinking of doing. This cycle is a negative I am going to start begging the other OBs to take me. I can not handle all these what if's, or should I's.

Yah it is pretty rediculous!! Sounds like a joke. No shame in begging if it is a BFN this time around. You have to do whats best for you!

Ugh, yeah you need to find another dr, geeze i hate it when they just blow you off without answering your questions. Remember you are paying him for a job, if he sucks go find someone who will listen to you and take care of you, you deserve that.

That's my problem. There is no one else.
The high risks doctors will NOT take me- so Imma have to beg and plead for them to do so. And I am scared to death of calling one of the RE's offices and hearing they do not take my insurance

ETA: Just called all the offies- And they said no, I need a referral

No i am not on progesterone, and that was what was weird is that i have no bb sorness at all, every month i have had it, now this month nothing. I had some hot flashes on the first round of clomid, this round i just noticed it about 3 days ago, i am just plain warm, all the time warm. Well at least i know that i am not the only one that had no symptoms on clomid after the first round or two, thanks for the information, i appreciate it.

Oh that sucks!!!! Why do you need a referal, that just drives me nuts, what they are too good for just taking anybody!! I would keep checking around, you never know there might be one that will take you. Do you have a general dr that you could ask for a referal, or maybe call your insurance co and ask them, they might know of someone.

They want one from my current OB
I am about to call all the RE's offices-
I will find a new doctor.

If I need a referral I will call my current doctors office, and tell them I want one without seeing the doctor - If worse comes to worse I will ask for a new doctor in the same office.

I cried over the phone as my customer service rep for my health insurance said those sweet sweet words- "Yes, Two Reproductive Endocrinologists are in contract with us" She was so sweet, she did not hang up the phone until she was sure I was okay. Since when does customer service do THAT? She has no idea what impact she just had on my life...

Lord, knows this is what I needed at this point in time. I can pick between two of the best RE's in this city and go to them.
I am still in complete shock as I sit here with tears running down my cheeks. I really do have a chance, I do.

She said they will pay 100% coverage for diagnosing and treatment of underlying cause. But will NOT pay for O induction, IVF or IUI. Which is fine with me - Diagnose away!!

Good Luck on the Trigger Kim!!! My DH has become a pro with all of the injections thus far.

Purple...I am so sorry about the constipation issue...I hope you find relief soon!!

Miss magnolia and nostoppingme...I cannot wait to hear about the first follie check. But IM shots for stimming...OUCH. I had 6 injections a day and if they were IM I would have been a mess...you are such a trooper.

I have been a mess and had a bit of a "I know this cycle did not work" morning. DH was wonderful and supportive. We talked about plans moving forward as well and decided we would sit on making any decisions. I know every pregnancy is different, but I have no symptoms, aside from the cramping I had a few days ago, that can truly be attributed to pregnancy and not all of the freaking drugs I've been taking. My DH is out interviewing for a job today and wanted to grab some pregnancy tests on the way home so we can test tomorrow. I agreed but really didn't want to even test...what's the point right?

    Maybe this is why??
