I am going to be starting clomid tonight and when I go in for the tracking scan, I heard the words of possible trigger shot. Does anyone else on clomid also do the trigger shots?

Hi Ladies, Been kinda MIA lately, just busy. I went to RE for 9 week check up yesterday. Babies are measuring right on target and still have two fabulous heartbeats. As for m/s, it isnt going anywhere. I am not as weak as I was but still struggling. I am still sooo happy even though m/s seems to be my constant companion.
MSPY, AJF, Kristen, congratulations and good luck with BFP. I am praying for all of you.

It's 4DP2DT (i think i finally got this right! don't know why i kept thinking that it's a 3 day transfer when its suppose to be 2 day transfer!) and I don't feel a bit PG at all. Oh...how i wish i've had symptoms some of the PG ladies here have!
Lisa, I'm good. Hit my 12 weeks yesterday so I am happy to have made it this far in a good way. Besides that, nothing new on my end. Just checking the boards to see how everyone else is doing.

MSPY, I did not have a single symptom until I hit 5 weeks pregnant. No cramping, no spotting, no nothing. So dont let no symptoms fool ya. Try to relax and enjoy your down time, and hopefully your 2ww will pass very quickly! Praying for you.
Glad to hear from you. Also excited your at 12 weeks. I am starting to get over the fear we talked about previously. How bout you?
Its always there but not as bad.

Lisa...thanks for the console! Yes it silly of me to actually hope for symptoms this early! I was hoping for implantation spotting (because i never spot/bled until AF arrives full blast. That would be a nice hindsight!

Sorry i forgot to share this with everyone here TTC or during the 2ww. There's a chinese saying the embbies stick better when the womb is "WARM". I've been getting feedback from my PG friends and sisters and it seems very true (eg: got a friend that does'nt take cold food and drinks at all and she gets PG very easily!). To make the womb "WARM", first you must avoid all cold food and drinks. I've got a serious addiction to cold drinks (especially coke) so I've been trying very hard to stay away since 3 months ago (when i first started IVF cycle). The only fluids i'm taking everyday now is warm/hot water and hot soup! I also just found out that TEA has the same effect as pineapples so no more hot teas for me! I hope by quitting this addiction will do me good and give me my BFP!
Mspy, my accupuncturist told me the same thing. She found it ironic how I HATE hot things. Don't drink hot coffee, just iced and I hate soup, hot chocolate. She said to TRY not using to much ice if possible and to use warming spices (cinnamon, nutmeg)
I've been on clomid two months and have had two IUI's but I've never had a trigger shot. The first month I had 5 eggs and the second month I had 7 so my doctor was afraid I'd wind up pregnant with multiples so we opted not to do the shot.
I'm glad you posted this because I'm curious to read what everyone else has to say about the trigger shot. Oh, and good luck!

Lisa-I'm doing good, I'm super excited that my IVF cycle starts a week from today! I'm continuing with my healthy diet and relaxation exercises. Sorry to hear you're still dealing with m/s, I really do hope it's over soon.

I am pretending that I don't care what DPO I'm on and that I don't care if I get pregnant but in all reality I know exactly what DPO I'm on and I'm secretly analyzing every twinge and tweak my body makes. It's funny but sometimes after AF shows and I'm waiting for O I accidentally still analyze my symptoms as if I'm in the 2WW ... then I'll be like - oops...haven't even ovulated yet ... guess that's not a pregnancy symptom...:-)

Sorry I haven't been on to update...I went in for lining check #2 on Tuesday am. It had grown from 5.0 to 7.3! Good news that it's growing, but not enough for my RE. SO............. I'm continuing on the estrace until Sat am when I go back again. Please pray that all will be good and I'll be shooting progesterone in my rear Saturday night! I'm praying for a transfer early next week. Fingers crosssed!

2WWer....how're you holdng up?
This is the longest 2ww of all of my cycles! I had a dream that I had a Dr's appt and I was late so DH was outside waiting for me with a big smile and said "were having twins" I told him about the dream and he laughed and said "ohh they can tell with my blood to??" I am thinking about this wayyyyyy too much. I get TINY little waves on nauseau and it just feels heavy down there and have mild twinges of back pain. I don't know if its from the estrace & projesterone inj.
I hate getting myself thinking I am pregnant and get the call next Saturday with a BFN. I am trying to stay positive and I am praying ALL the time. I want next Sat. to come already!!

Great news Mia. 7.3 is not bad. Don't they need to just get it
to 8+?? You can do that with a few prog. injections I am sure
