I Love You Heidi!!!!![]()
Hello ladies,
I can't believe I have been away for so long. Work has been absolutely crazy and I have worked myself to the bone and had no time at all to get on line so sorry I missed all the excitement. I just want to congratulate all of you with your BFP's.
I was hoping for some advice from you, does anyone know if you can ovulate before your trigger? The reason I ask this is that usually my O symptoms are creamy CM and a lump in my right boob which goes when AF arrives. I have had both of these for two days now and my abdomen does not seem as bloated as it did a few days ago. I had my final scan on Friday but I am now worrying that on the scan they can only see the follies and not that the eggies are actually in there. I'd be grateful for any help. Must run as I am off to acupuncture before tomorrows ER.
Good luck with your ER today. I am not real sure about the ovulation before trigger. I do however believe that when you are taking meds in prep for ER your body is doing many things different than usual, so in turn would make you think you ovualated when in fact it is just the meds changing things. Every thing will be fine. Take care and hope all goes well. I am excited for you. Let us know how it goes.![]()
Day 4 of injections of Menopur and so far, I feel fine. I too feel like a drug user, even drew one up in my car and felt like the neighbors were watching me. I give shots all day long as a nurse, but giving to myself is a whole other thing.... Come on BFP's. We have earned them!

Has anyone experienced breakouts from Clomid??
POAS this am and BFN, have no pg sysmstoms just PMS, sore back, bloaty and migraine headaches. Feeling very disappointed and weepy this was our last attempt. My decision not the RE's. Hoping work will be a distraction.

I'm so sorry you had to see a BFN, Max.I hope that it is just too early. for you!
Thanks Erin and Kristen, I'm trying to stay postive but I kept temping throughout this and my dip happened at its usual time, I should know by tomorrow as that is when AF would be due, if she's late than maybe I'll bounce back. It is so awful as we always get this far and the quality of my eggs and the embryos were the best ever, my lining the thickest ever and my body was so ready, no stress, no high blood pressure, no illness... this will be a total bummer, but we did everything we could.
I'll keep my fingers crossed and pray, not a lot else I can do at this stage.

Hi!!!
i went for my ultrasound and bloodwork this morning and here's an update:
RE says i'm responding well to Gonal-F, and she's really happy with my progress. i didn't have any other side effects either. So as of today, i have 3 big follies on right ...all about 18mm, and one mid size one. The left ones that are around the cyst haven't grown much, oh well. We'll be triggering tonight (between 7-9pm), then in for IUI tomorrow morning. Is it normal to do IUI about 14 hours after triggering? i thought they usually wait 24 hours, some even 36.
We'll be dropping off the SA around 8.30, and IUI will be at 10am. i'm excited!
Good luck!

3 IUI's and Clomid didn't work, it's up to God
Went for my eight week u/s this morning. Both babies have strong heartbeats and are measuring eight weeks which is where they are supposed to be. Heartbeats were in the 170's for one and 180's for the other. They are starting to look like babies now. Re says they each have their own amniotic sac which is good. I am still on top of the world.
max, I think that maybe it is just too early.
I POAS on 8dp3dt and got a negative, then on 9dp3dt and 10dp5dt, I got two very light/ faint positives.
Lets think positive and pray................

Update on me...>I had my IUI yesterday and it was very painful for me b/c I seem to have a tight cervix. They had this same problem w/ my HSG. DH said the doc tried 4 different things in order to make it work. If it gives us our BFP, i'm fine w/ a little pain. DH's numbers were ok, not great, but ok...so now comes the 2WW. I might test earlier than I normally would b/c I will have to be put on prog. if I get PG b/c of my LPD.
ladies!
Max: Sorry you had to see a BFN, hang in there, it may have been too soon. I'm praying for you...
Lisa: Great news!
Ok so my official start date, for IVF attempt #2 is 11/12, less than 3 weeks away, i'm so excited. Our tentative ER is 12/9...wish me luck ladies.
Hello! This is my first post here.
I've been on two cycles of Clomid and have had two unsuccessful IUI's. My doctor says I have to have an ultrasound on day 2 or 3 of each cycle before he'll give me Clomid to be sure I have no cycsts.
The thing is, I've never had any cysts. I'm wondering if it's normal to always have an ultrasound each cycle before taking Clomid.
I don't have time to have another IUI this month (I'm going out of town twice) so I asked him if I could do Clomid alone and he said no. He said I can't be on Clomid without being supervised. I guess I'm not sure what that means. Every time I've taken Clomid, I've taken it on days 3-7 and then haven't had another appointment until after day 7 so I'm not sure what it is he would need to supervise.
I'm new to the fertility treatment world and I want to be sure I'm not paying for unnecessary appointments. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
