Thread: FF Question

    Default FF Question

Just curious, which ovulation detection method do you have your FF set on? i.e. Advanced/OPK/FAM, etc.

For instance, I have mine set on FAM right now, but if I change it to Advanced, it wants to set my ovulation day this month on CD19 rather than CD18 (crosshairs on both).

    Anyone have any insight?

I went with the suggested method, that way I don't get the broken line crosshairs.

I leave it at the default which I believe is advanced.

Someone once told me to use FAM, but I can't remember why

    It was me...

FAM is great for ladies with very regular cycles and obvious temp shifts. It calculates your O date based on a high temps that are "significantly higher" than the previous 6 temps. Hope that helps!!

I switched to FAM now since Advanced isn't giving me cross hairs fro the first time ever. I have no idea why Advanced wouldn't give me cross hairs since I've had four days of high temps in a row. I did have four fever days excluded this month but I don't know why that would bother Advanced and not FAM.

Thanks! It is the first very strong O I have had since my third was born. It is making me very hopeful although BD was not happening as often because I was so sick right before hand. Advanced still won't give me crosshairs which is really odd.
