Thread: Wobenzym N

    Default Wobenzym N

Has anyone heard of or taken Wobenzym N for their fertility issues--or any other issues for that matter? I came across this while "googling" immune related infertility and was amazed by the positive feedback I saw regarding the use of enzyme therapy. Needless to say I have been researching it ever since. Since I don't have the $3,000+ to have reproductive immune testing by one of those fancy Reproductive Immunologist, I'm going to speak with my local doctors to see if they feel this will be an added benefit.

I didn't want to read and not reply. No. I've never heard of it. I'm anxious to see what your Dr says about it.

    Thanks for the responses ladies.

Kelly- I was hoping you would respond. I felt like I remember you mentioning it before but i couldn't be for sure Did you speak with your doctor before using it, or no? I read that it's been well tested and is safe during pregnancy. I also like the fact that you can't overdose on it and there are no adverse side effects.

Well I ordered it and it'll be here this afternoon. I see my PCP tomorrow and the Peri on Monday

I didn't let my dr know (RE at the time) because he was a stickler for "evidence based practice" which is great medically speaking, but not so much when it cam to supps .

Hoping and praying it helps !!! Haha, I have dh taking it now too (he has IBS) !

Hi, Kelly! did you take Wobenzym during pregnancy too? Did you feel any side effects of it? I am taking it to ttc and want to know whether I should keep taking it after getting conceived. Thank you.

hi Vivian!! Yup, I used it throughout most of my first trimester, but I had morning sickness and stopped all of my supplements around 9ish weeks because the thought of them was making me sick . I never went back on it, but have heard from other women who used it throughout ttc, pg, breastfeeding, and beyond .

I didn't have any side effects from the wobenzym that I noticed at all (I'm almost 26wks pg now).

I think if it's considered a supplement, and if your doc says it's ok, by all means. Couldn't hurt!
