Honestly, I had a beta of 24,000+ with just a gestational sac and yolk sac at 9wks (had to draw a starting beta to have something to compare my weekly betas too while we waited for them to drop back to normal after the mva) so I really wouldn't put any stock whatsoever into those numbers at this point...u/s is way more precise and so far so good . I know your little one is measuring smaller than dates, but even with u/s there's a +/-6 day discrepancy potential and your LO is within that, not to mention she's had a normal rate of growth since your last u/s .

I am hanging onto hope for you and your little one Brittany...I just so wish things were more definite for you, hate all this wait-and-see you have to go through !

Sorry I posted too soon. Do you need bed rest the entire pregnancy? Or just until bleeding stopped? Many hugs...

When you consider that some women even when induced at full-term or even post-dates with high levels of synthetic oxytocin *still* don't go into labor...it doesn't really make sense that bfing might stim preterm labor . LOL, and I so hoped bfing would help with my L&Ds in some way, but nope, not at all .

I'm just getting up to speed on all of this. Thinking if you and hoping things start to feel more solid very soon.

I agree with this COMPLETELY, which is why I asked if they are going to do any follow up labs. I hope that you're doing well, resting, and still blood free for the day!

Hey Brenda, so the recommendation is bed rest until I'm free of issues for 3 consecutive days or until 13w5d when I can get re-evaluated. Of course I'm hoping for a quick 3 days of no incidents. The specialist put an email to my reg OB and I guess I should hear from her sometime in the week. Normally there is a 2day ER follow up, but I'm not sure if they want to do that.

He mentioned my genetic counseling on May 14th and possibly having that sped up. I'm just sort of waiting.....

Today is good so far. Still no abdominal pain, and the little brown and burgundy like discharge is mainly coming out with my progesterone. My fingers are crossed so tight I may break one.

I am just staring at the pics from last night the growth and development looks good.

The absolute hardest part about this is the reminder of my first.... I had spotting in week 9 but everything was okay. Then spotting again in week 12, still everything good. I really don't want to do that again.

Aside from my firstborn, I've nursed during every pregnancy and while I have had one m/c I don't believe it had anything to do with breastfeeding.

Praying for you! Really glad that your family is able to rally around you to help take care of you and the kids and that you haven't had any more bleeding!!
I don't know....they didn't mention it. I think it just makes an all around ER doc (he was a D.O.) feel better about knowing what's going on. But that's also why he called the high risk specialist.

It sounds like you're getting really great care through all of this! I hope your OB will offer frequent u/s for you to check on things...I know that's so reassuring for me to see baby bouncing around and doing well .

Praying the bleeding/spotting stops completely and the time on bed rest goes quickly for you ! I'm not on complete bed rest, but was told to "take it very easy" until my next appt on the 19th...it's not easy to spend most of my day sitting and watching my house slowly decompose, lol, but I know it's not forever .
