Default Breast feeding, pregnant and on progesterone

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I'm asking because DS2 still nurses 4-5 times a day (no nights) but I'm not feeling my letdown anymore. I just let him nurse until he is done...pulls away or whatever. I was still breast feeding my first son while pregnant with my daughter( which means I was on progesterone too) but the ages were different ( my son was 8months old when I got pregnant and I was able to nurse until he was 11 months). Shall I just keep on doing what I'm doing?

does your dr know your still bfing? if your dr knows then i wouldn't worry about it.
i would keep at it as long as you want to. i nursed my son while pg with dd (i was not on prog.... though)
with ds i discovered that he was only comfort nursing because i was nearly dried up because of the pregnancy. this could be why you no longer feel the letdown. in your case nurse as long as you want to and don't be upset when your l/o decides to quit nursing altogether.
when i was nursing dd i again dried up right around the time she turned one and i had to stop trying to bf her because i had nothing left.

Yup, I nursed dd through my entire pg with ds and I was on progesterone until 14wks . Oh...and she was 13months when I got pg, but still nursing quite a bit.

I've nursed into and throughout other pgs too. I do notice a dip in supply...most of my toddlers weaned about 3-4months into my pg because of it, but I've had two that stuck it out and I tandem nursed for 6months and 15months.

You should be fine. And at this point of bf you don't really have to have a letdown. My tot weaned when I was I'm 2nd trimester and I didn't take progesterone this time around. She went from hourly bf at nIght to zero. Do just do what you are doing unless you want to wean.

Well, now I'm just glad I never forced him to wean. That would be two devastations for me. I'm glad I still have this bond with him, especially if he is going to be my last (I hope not.... I think, well, I really just don't know.)

I felt the same way about DS2 when I had my m/c.
