Varya, that has to be annoying about your auto correct's love of my name. ;)
Kelly, 88 days!!
Happy 28 weeks kelly!!
W00t! Can' believe it is 28 week s for you alrw
Meh. Silly phone. You probably guessed what I intended to write lol
I felt kind of icky yesterday...I think from the Tdap . Did I mention she had to poke me twice ? The nurse said the first needle was too long so not all of the vax would go in because it was right up against my bone (enough went in to really hurt). She had to do a second one with a shorter needle because I didn't get the full dose , ya my arm hurts, lol . My gastritis flared up a little too...just a lot of burning pain and some nausea all afternoon/evening so I wasn't able to eat much, but I'm feeling worlds better this morning !
Tomorrow is supposed to be my last day of Qvar which I've been taking since I had bronchitis 4wks ago. I'm going to call my pulmo though and ask about staying on it a bit longer since my peak flow is only so-so, I'm hoarse, and coughing mildly...I assume because it has been soooo rainy and damp the last week. Also, I'm spending the weekend at my mom's...just some potential irritants and I'm not sure how I'll respond being there for 3 days.
Mocha has been so active and she's so strong...loving the firm movement and the kids think it's hysterical watching my belly wiggle all over . I am looking so forward to meeting this LO...hard to believe it's only another 8-12ish wks !
Kelly..thats awful about her having to stick you twice. OUCH!!!! I can sympathize on the nausea/acid...Soon enough our baby's should start to drop down some and I am hoping for the reflux relief then for all of us. It's probably a good idea to stay proactive with Qvar..couldn't hurt to have the script even if you think you can start to wean off it after your moms. Yay for Mocah moving all around. It's so reassuring to feel baby kick and move now.
I didn't actually forget the prescription for the breast pump, lol, it's in their system so when I deliver baby they'll send it up to my room...super excited and thankful I don't actually have to pick it up from the med supply co !!
Also, the pulmo called me back and said to stay on the Qvar for 2 more weeks and we'll reassess my symptoms then . I'm starting to be able to tell when my treatment isn't up to par...chest tightness (no pain or shortness of breath though), coughing at night, peak flows at 80-85%, and a stuffy nose are usually signs something is bothering me. Considering I'm on an additional inhaler right now and have been feeling mildly symptomatic it's really not worth the risk of stopping it until we can at least get our basement dried out (our dehumidifier died ) and I get home from my mom's.
Oh and I got my hair colored today and love the change:
The pic was taken with my tablet so not the best, lol, IRL the color is less purple and more red...it also changes a bit depending on how I part my hair because of the color placement (I had chocolate brown lowlights, warm red lowlights, and blonde highlights put in...the brown and red blend in some areas and make the red look darker than it is). Anyway, I love the dimension...change I wanted and change I got, I'm happy .
ETA... LESS THAN 80 days to go, woohooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting closer and closer. Yay!!!
Happy almost 30 weeks! Eesh! In some weeks the babywill be here!
We survived the trip to my mom's , but came home a day early...ds has strep and I had a reaction to some blankets my mom sent home with me (I found out later they were from my brother's house and they have 3 large cats ). Anyway, ds is doing better since starting the antibiotic and albuterol has kept my breathing more comfortable so we're on the mend ...just praying no one else comes down with strep . Oh, and I'm really really glad I stayed on the 2nd inhaler !
I've been having more and more bh contrx and some have been doozies ...makes me so excited knowing how close I am to meeting our LO !!
I have a pulmo appt again already a week from today...should be a quick in and out, best kind of appts to have .
My oldest starts college classes today . So proud and super excited for her !!
I've been taking maalox daily trying to keep the heartburn under control, but I think this is just going to be life in the 3rd tri until baby drops or arrives . I'm calling my ob today to see if I can take zantac along with the prevacid (maalox gives me diarrhea).
I honestly can't complain though...still feeling pretty comfortable and am so thankful to be able to get outside for a brisk walk most days .
Ha, my 2yr old popped my exercise ball (put a pencil through it) so I had to get a new one...still in the process of inflating it (75cm...they take awhile), but looking forward to not having to sit in a chair while doing school with the kids (makes me feel stiff, lol, and a little stir crazy ).
Woohoo, college classes! Thumbs up to your daughter!
My neighbor just popped my ball too! It was a sand weighted one, loved it. He put a thumb tack into it... Don't ask me why he is a little destructive for almost being 11.
Kelly I've been having BH too. The other night I woke with them. Did you get them earlier and stronger with each baby? Almost 30 weeks for you..how exciting. I think the last of the June/July/sept babies are here. So its our group now. Crazy.....
Brittany...my new one is weighted and I love it !!!
Brenda...yup, bh have gotten stronger and earlier for me than they were with my first few .
I could actually feel them around 15wks, but they were infrequent and mild. Now that my uterus is so big they're strong, but not intense...don't have to stop what I'm doing or anything, just have to breathe and focus a bit until it passes.
Sometimes I'll have quite a few of them...definitely more than the "call your dr if having more than 4 contractions in an hour" recommendation, and they'll even come consistently every 3-5mins, but they're short (30-45seconds), don't increase in intensity, and they stop within 45mins so it's not worrisome. I can also check my own cervix so I know they're not making any big changes.
Wow! 30 weeks!!!!!! Imagine, you could be holding that precious baby in about 7 weeks. How awesome!!!!!
I'm just so happy for you, I feel like you just got pg yesterday!
Phew, busy busy busy!!!! LOL, so of course I started a home improvement project since we aren't already busy enough ! I'm excited to have a project that is all mine though ...it's actually a really nice reprieve from all the regular stuff . I'm redoing our small bedroom upstairs and moving my two youngest boys in there (they are 7yrs and 2.5yrs).
I found out my pulmo dr has another office with hours that are more convenient for me so I was able to cancel yesterday's appt and reschedule at the other office for the same day as my ob appt...no more having to work out schedules and vehicles to make 2 trips over there through heavy construction, woohooo !!! Both appts are the 22nd.
