glad you *finally* have an appt!!!!!

I mentioned in the NET thread that maybe it's round ligament pain ?? Mine usually starts late first tri/early 2nd tri and is worse when my bladder/bowels are full and it's usually one sided .

I had some pain in the ovary area before at a time when it wasn't possible that it was ovary related--so I saw my gyn and she palpated around and said there was a lot of stool in the bowels. I remember the pain going away after BM, so I think you're right that it's probably related. Dehydration can also cause similar issues, for the uterus and other tissues around there.

    Hopefully it won't come back!

Pain has been gone all day but I've been home with a headache. Seems like it is always something!

Whenever I "complain" my five year old says, "But MOM, you WANT a baby!!" To which I always reply, "Yes, I do, but without the nausea."

Still it's nice to have his perspective. I don't really feel like I'm so much complaining about it as I am just stating my reality. It's not like I'm going on and on about how much I wish it would go away. All of us are willing to go through what we have to in order to bring a healthy baby home (or birth a healthy baby at home).

First prenatal appt with OB today...ended up getting an ultrasound. Baby looks perfect! Measuring a couple days ahead but EDD is going to stay at 10/21. My OB didn't measure the heartbeat but we saw baby wiggling around in there. Baby was sitting cross-legged like I usually do! Will post pics tonight or tomorrow after work!

Thanks ladies! I felt flutters yesterday and the night before when sleeping on my left side. Tried to replicate it today but no luck. My next appointment will be the NT scan on April 15th.

I thought I was feeling something yesterday too! Since you did, as well, I feel a little less skeptical.

Awwww ...I love those first flutters! I usually start feeling them between 11 and 13wks . My thinking is even if it isn't baby, there's no harm in enjoying it all the same...baby *is* in there wiggling around .

Yay! How amazing to feel those flutters! I clearly remember in all my kids nt scans watching them squirm and spin and do crazy things and feel nothing I don't think I'm sensitive enough in my uterus maybe because I have a tilted uterus?

Got hit with another headache this morning. So far Tylenol isn't working

On the plus side, I decided to rest after I showered and got to feel Bean fluttering around for a good 10 minutes

I'm so sorry you're dealing with a headache though and the tylenol isn't helping . Praying it eases for you soon!

Thanks Kelly. It's all sinus related. Spring is so pretty but I'm so miserable all the time with the headaches. Usually Advil and Sudafed will take care of it but I cannot have either right now, so endure I must. Good thing DH is working on house projects today and DS is having great fun "helping." I pretty much have the day to myself. My one chore I that have to get done today is hit the grocery store at some point.

I've never used a neti-pot, but have heard they really help with allergy-related sinus headaches...maybe it'd be worth a shot??

I LOVE my neti-pot. Just be sure to boil the water and let it cool. I used to just use warm tap water but then started seeing reports of parasites that can be in water and get to your brain. Too tired and fuzzy to google a link .... though I know that explanation sounds completely bogus. LOL.

I use a saline nasal spray in the shower. I can't do the Netti Pot. I've tried. I gag and throw up. It's worse than the headache!
