Thread: Dorcas / khadijavye Updates :)

Default Dorcas / khadijavye Updates :)

So I finally got my 2nd beta results back!!

    1st beta - 123
2nd beta - 2945 (this is about 3x my rough calculations ... I went 1 week between draws)

    1st progesterone (wk 4) - 16.8
    2nd progesterone (wk 5) - 15.4

My progesterone usually runs low, even with supplementing, so these numbers do not worry me. Anything over 10 is acceptable. My Dr. did change my progesterone dose from 100mg to 200mg. I will continue with weekly progesterone checks but no more hCG checks.

    3rd Progesterone (wk 6) - 19.2
    4th Progesterone (wk 7)- 14.7
    5th Progesterone (wk 8) - 28.3
    6th Progesterone (wk 9) - 34.5
    7th Progesterone (wk 10) - 28.7
    8th Progesterone (wk 11) - 43.5
    9th Progesterone (wk 12) - 46.5

Found out baby boy on 4/11 via Harmony test results.

    Stopped Progesterone on 4/22

    Weight gain 1st Trimester: 2lbs
Total weight gain at 20 weeks: 4lbs
Total weight gain at 22 weeks: 2lbs (back down 2lbs)
Total weight gain at 27 weeks: 5lbs
Total weight gain at 29 weeks: 6lbs

    First Kick: 5/12
    Consistent movement: 6/2
First externally felt movement: 6/15 (Father's Day)
Saw movement for the first time: 7/3 (My Mom felt movement)

I don't know much about betas/progesterone and all that goodness but I'm so glad to hear everything's going in the right direction!

Stacie! So good to see you stalking me! How's life adjusting to three??

Thanks Jessie!! I never knew about the hCG numbers until my last pregnancy which started with bleeding and so necessitated having 3 betas done. This pregnancy is already leaps and bounds better, so I'm quite happy!!

I am happy that I CAN now stalk you Dorcas, this thread does make that so easy! Life with three is going pretty well, we're just at the difficult 3-4 week mark with baby girl, but this too shall pass.

Did I mention that I am just SO darn excited for you?

I have spent the afternoon feeling like I'm on the verge of puking. I went to kneel by the toilet, as this is usually where I deposit vomit, and I immediately had to get back up and find a bucket. OMG the smells that exist around one's toilet! Phew!!

Happily I haven't actually had to toss my cookies (though I have no cookies in my tummy) but man, it has been a rough afternoon.

Yay for positive pregnancy symptoms, right??

I kept my toilets much cleaner when I was throwing up regularly. LOL!

I used to throw up into the garbage disposal since throwing up in the toilet just made me puke longer and I HATE getting splashed in the face with toilet water.

Sorry you are feeling crappy. But yay for strong pregnancy symptoms!

Did my progesterone blood draw this morning. Hopefully I won't have to track down my results this time. ;)

Progesterone level this week is 19.2! That's a really great number for me. And it explains the nauseated feelings. ;)
