You're doing great! Even if induction comes up, you can just share your view and hopefully your MW can work with you. I would bring up to your MW that in the beginning things were a little slow starting up. (Even with o dates) and maybe Kayla really needs more time inside. I hope your MW team is on your side!

You must be soo exhausted and emotionally drained I hope sis gets her butt into gear

It's tough. I'm sorry. I hope things start looking up

I'm sure you are ready it give in. If I lived by I would come clean for you and rub your feet!

The more I think about it the more I think it is stress related. My midwife knows how I feel about pit. She will be great and only give me what I need to start contracting on my own. I was in a horrible mood this morning. I feel a little better now.

Glad you're feeling better. And remember that you are doing nothing wrong, no matter how this progresses. We can't control much about how our bodies labor.

Thinking of you. Don't stress yourself too much. First babies tend to be overdue. I was 8 days late and my mom also labored for a long time. Just give yourself and Kayla the time you two need. You will do just fine, I'm sure.

It is really difficult on your mental health to sit around waiting for a baby to arrive. Really difficult.

The stress is all circumstantial and financial. I am not really stressed about when labor will happen. I really wanted it to happen and I am still exited and looking forward for it to happen. I kinda gave into my body and know it will happen when it happens. But I believe that it is the stress about the circumstantial stuff that is making my body not go into labor. Dose that make sense?

That definitively makes sense. There are so many ways stress can affect our body, we even don't know half of them. Maybe your body just decided to not add the mental stress of labor to the stress level you have right now because of other circumstances. Even though having your little girl around would most likely make you feel better ;-)

I'm so sorry things haven't progressed more quickly for you, but you're doing an incredible job and have done everything you can do It's so frustrating because in the end we don't have control and we have to wait for our bodies to do their thing. Even if you end up getting induced you still can have a beautiful birth experience and will be holding Kayla in your arms in the end. Can't wait to hear some good news from you soon Mariah!

Sending you lots of hugs. And we are all stalking and sending you labour vibes! I think I vaguely remember there was a mama on board who went to 43 weeks and the baby was fine.

We are at the hospital. i am only 2 centimeters now. however i had really high bp and was really dehydrated. so they hooked me up to an iv.and wanted to keep me over night. my midwives came in and said i am not going home without a baby. i am contracting but they want them to be stronger ..if i don't progress enough by morning i get pit. wish me luck.
