They place the baby at a 30w+6. And according to dd I was given should be 31+1. Either way I think it is OK. He is head down which doesn't matter much as I'll be having a c/s.

That is only a few days off, so I doubt it will make much of a difference. So glad all is well!

Thanks! Yes, this is better than over a week behind as he measured when I had a growth ultrasound at 23 weeks. I am in no hurry really as I want my mom to be here (hope she is still coming) so if he is a bit behind in dated it gives me more time to schedule a later c-s. But aa I mentioned before - I can't shake the feeling he might be coming in about 6 weeks. 2 high would put him at 37. So... will see!

I've been having LOTS of pressure down below and on my bladder. And seems quite a few bxs. Not fun! Every time I start walking I feel like my uterus is going to fall out lol it would be OK now if I was aiming at natural delivery - btw didn't have it this early on last time around - but since I'm not it makes me more aware that this little one might be in a hurry. The baby moves all over A LOT and all sorts of kicking me. I don't know why but all 3 of my babies prefer my right lower abdominal part where the ovary is. They just park their limbs there and either bounce or kick

Dd2 became more aware of the belly and the baby. She comes over to hug and kiss the "baby". Puts her head on my belly and wraps her hands around

I still feel like my uterus is going to fall out and I am almost 5wks PP! LOL

So sweet that your DD2 is more aware of the baby and hugging/kissing your tummy.

32nd week just flew by! Hand food and mouth disease is raging in our province and it seems to be a bacteria strain that is giving complications to children under 5 and there were 5 deaths in a city near by. I hope my kids don't get it as it will be very hard for me to handle such sickness right now. I'll take chicken pox or measles any day over this one!
I've been having some painful bxs. And the baby kicks A LOT and it hurts lol especially it my bladder is even tiny bit full. I have been going to the loo every 30 min.
My biweekly appointment is next Friday - I wanted to skip it but I have to see how my thyroid doing with meds, get non fasting sugar test and show her my ultrasound from last week. So dh will have to take another half day off.

Welcoming 33rd week with lots of random contractions. I had to lie down for an hour this morning as they were so uncomfortable and even painful. Not something I need atm. I also had a dream last night that I am 1 finger dilated and told to get monitored every few days. This is a second dream I have on this pregnancy. One more I had a week or so ago that we have another girl with blonde curly hair. Not a boy. Must be all the talk of dh and dd2 still hoping for a girl.
I decided to walk to Macau in Friday afternoon to see a proper English speaking ob whom I saw for gender in 2nd tri. She is an older lady with lots of experience and most famous there so I will consult her on my case more. If I indeed have a high BP problem I am not sure why my 0b hasn't ordered urine test or additional monitoring. Seeing all mamas here recently ending up with pre-e or nearly pre-e I feel concerned.

That is scary about your blood pressure and contractions. I have a blood pressure monitor at home I've been using just to put my mind at ease, because I've been getting headaches and I'm worried too after reading about all these other mamas on here with blood pressure issues. I had some heavy duty Braxton hicks around 30 weeks that scared me but they fizzled out after about a week. Of course I'm not feeling anything now! I hope they settle down for you soon.

Preterm labor dreams are actually really common, I've had them! So I hope you'll not worry about it too much.

I'm glad there's another doctor you can see, since the other one is not very proactive.

    Thanks ladies.
I won't be seeing that other doctor - she is on vacation till June 6th so it is pretty much pointless. I will try to figure things out locally.

Got my digital machine for BP measuring. Yesterday it was between 120/70 and 140/70. 140 concerns me but so far what I read it is OK?? Will see what it is at the hospital today - on my way as I type. Won't see the doctor for another 2 hours as I have to wait in line for my numbers first and then till 8.30 (when she actually starts seeing patients - 6.30 now!)..

BP is 121/76 this morning. Still waiting to see the Dr as I am 5th in line and need to do non-fasting sugar test from finger in 1 hour plus kinda doppler test for blood cord.

Sugar was slightly elevated but my breakfast was high in carbs. It was 7.6 but allowed up to 6.8. Here measurements might be different. Anyway she just said go easy on carbs. OK and I might have eaten a bar of chocolate yesterday :-P

    :-D indeed!

Anyway, went back to the hospital this morning for thyroid teSt results. Numbers have improved so taking same dose for another month and then retest again. I decided in that case I am not going back at 35 weeks but will go at 36 or 37. Really no point. I spend 3 hours in waiting just to literally see doctor for 5-7. If I have concerns or my BP starts going high I will just got to L&D.

Glad to hear that the thyroid meds are doing their job. Hope the BP stays nice and low.

That's a long wait, I hope your BP stays low and there is no need for you to make a trip to the L & D. Is chocolate bad? I think I've eaten more chocolate this pregnancy than I ever thought humanly possible

Thanks! It is not that chocolate is bad. It is how big the bar was that I ate the night before sugar test lol

I feel like ftm with the number if contractions I am getting! It is so new and bizarre to me. Dh even asked me if I got numbers for private drivers in the area in case of emergency. I hope I don't got before June 10th as Dh gets paid around that time and even though we technically have enough for all expenses and a bit extra, I hope we just have better amount in the emergency fund.
I am not ready and need to start packing my hospital bag plus get some clothes for the LO. I have only 3 suits and 4 swaddling blankets. No diapers but at the hospital they give and there are few shops inside and outside that sell baby stuff.
Other than that I haven't been sleeping well as we have so many mosquitoes and they seem to like me a lot!

Goodness, contractions already? Braxton Hicks or real ones?

Get that bag ready! And yes mosquitoes are awful. I'm sensitive to the bites, I swell up around the bite and it itches like crazy. Coconut oil actually stops the itching better than anything else I've tried.

Real! Bxs don't hurt as much and they subside with different stuff like laying down or drinking some water/juice. Sometimes it is such a piercing pain through cervix that I bend down. There is no show, no bleeding and no leaking of a/f, and they don't check dilation till you get to l&d. It hasn't been consistent so I am not completely alarmed but I am just pretty much shocked at getting them at all. May be it has to do with me having c-section under 2 years ago? Or the fact that this is 3rd baby (4th pregnancy)? I did feel movement quite early, at 23 weeks as compared to 18-20 weeks with my other 2

I don't have an easy access to coconut oil. And even though I get reaction to bites it is not the reaction that bothers me - it is the initial bite. I literally sleep with a zapper in bed mozzies here are so tiny you don't see y hem! And by the time you realize they bit you it is not one but several bites. Too many plants and ponds and fountains in the compound we live in. Chinese say they love pregnant women. And it seems true - I can just sit in one spot and have zapper ready and zap up to 20 in 30 minutes. I am not kidding!!! We use acs and everything is closed but they still manage to get in via doors and if we need to go to the balcony. Everyone's house is like that. Nothing really can be done. I also have citronella oil placed around and it helps some.

I had some early contractions like that but I know mine were stress related.
Sorry to hear about the mosqitoes. at least it isn't chiggers biting u. We have those now and they never stop itching! Fingernail polish stops higher itching but don't think it would help mosquito bites.
