14 weeks, baby! And I felt last week the earliest movement ever: I could feel flutters which with both girls I only felt around 18 weeks. And even dh felt when he put the hand on my lower belly. It was not gas lol but I could feel definite knocks in my uterus. Makes me wonder if having 2 c-sections made it more sensitive atm!

Yes! Also I hear that after your first movement is easy to detect. It also helps if your placenta is in the optimum place to feel movement. That is so cool!

Ugh, had a stew from Chinese restaurant with pork. It tasted sooo good. Right after felt tired and sleepy. Fell asleep and woke up a few times not feeling super. Woke up at 11.30pm and... sent my dinner down the toilet. Just in time to countdown and say happy new year to dh lol then had a horrid reflux and acidity and was so worried dd2 would wake up 10 times to nurse as she did the night before. But luckily she only woke up once or twice and I rested. Still dizzy today. Dh and girls are out playing and I had a nap after breakfast and now laying in bed.

Thank you, mamas. I didn't have dinner yesterday as the nausea was bad. And today I still have a lingering headache. Oh well!

Thankfully it is not a flu plus we get rotavirus in august-october. It is mostly lack of nutrition and the fact that I don't eat and still nurse. I have been trying to eat better today and I feel slightly better but still woozy. The problem is I need to make a special effort to cook what I want and can eat and it also isn't easy.

    Yes, time flies do fast!!!
I'm excited as our multicultural kid blogs groups is throwing all expecting members a virtual baby shower in March - we are all due at different times. It will be just simple posts, experience sharing, advice, we might even schedule a hangout. It is such a cute idea and I love how thoughtful people are! I never had a baby shower and needless to say I am thrilled

I spent 3 hours in lines to see a random ob a d have ultrasound and papers for all the tests they do here. The ob was like oh you are 35 so you might need an amnio. I said only if the blood test shows positive markers we will consider it.
The Babe is doing fine. Hb is 167. Measures just on track. I booked a gender ultrasound in Macau on 27th as I hope to go with dh and both dds since they will be on vacation. My 3d anatomy scan is on March 6th and my next appointment is on February 14th.

I myself turned down the amnio. The IMHO the list of cons greatly outweighs the list of pros for that test. The cons include scary things like preterm labor and infection.

We were only going to do the amnio if the markers came back that there could be an issue, otherwise to me it wasn't worth the risk

Same here, I didn't want to risk anything by getting the amnio so I opted out of it. Never heard any markers came up in my blood tests.

Yes, I agree. Amnio is like the last and extreme measure
And since normally we have no history, and it is a 3rd baby, I don't see why pushing it before doing other tests. BTW, they don't even do NT scan here.

Had the most painless blood draw EVER. This nurse has what we call in Russian golden hands. I wish there were more like her in l&d! With dd2 they poked my hands do.many times trying to get the system in that by day 3 I had no place left to have an IV! I also booked gender ultrasound for 27th. Hope the on doesn't go on holidays (due to Chinese New year which is on 31st). I did dream in a Chinese character for female in relation to the baby. Let's see!
My belly suddenly popped. I felt actually like the baby's been going through gs. But it is still not visible enough to day I'm pregnant as I did have a belly after dd2 - I just can't control the muscles to keep it flatter, kwim?
Dd2 seems to be self-weaning. If she keeps sttn I will be moving her with dd1.

I was going to start weaning her in March and stretch for a few months. Self-weaning can also take few months. My main issue atm is that I am not sleeping well. Discomfort already started and we co-sleep which is otherwise great but not when she kicks me in the belly

Pulled a muscle on my ankle. Either stepped wrong or twisted. Totally bites as I have a 18 months old whom I have to lift and sometimes carry around. And my nausea is back with a headache. Drinking strawberry juice at Starbucks helped a bit.

Sorry to hear about your ankle. I hope that it feels better soon! I cant so much carry my almost 2 year old around anymore. She's getting to heavy for my back while pregnant. I make her dad carry her when she needs to be carried. Otherwise I make her walk.

Thank you, ladies. Ankle is better. I wish I didn't have to carry my 18m old so much but she wants snuggles all the time and often she wants me to stand and hold her (which I try not to).
