We don't usually have separate rooms for newborns, so we set up crib which we barely use (mostly for naps) in our bedroom. This is the crib a friend brought a month ago and we finally assembled it and I put some wall decor for the baby. The outfit is not the one we are bringing him in from the hospital - I just always like to have an outfit on the bed waiting for the baby to arrive -)

Ok, this child is a tease already: I get these intense contrix and they just die out before they get any more intense or consistent. I think he is just having fun and mocking me cause he knows that he is getting evicted in a week anyway. Meh.
P.s. I had another dream that it was a girl, not a boy and dh says he has a feeling it is this way. Well, either it is just some wishful thinking or we will have a girl who's gonna wear lots of green and blue baby clothes!

And p.s. since dd1 has been sick since Thursday I missed my 38 weeks appointment. And I can't go today again as she is still home and her throat looks red. So since ON Sunday I have to.go.for.last check anyway before admission I decided not to bother with any other hospital runs. Well, except this afternoon I have to go to the small.clinic in our garden where they have a throat specialist to look at her throat.

I know I sound trivial but I got a carrier from a friend today that had traveled through 3 families before me. It is in great condition and it is ergo! it has no infant insert but i can use a regular blanket. And I had the fabric delivered today which I bought to make the woven wrap. Yay

I have an ergo too and a k'tan "wrap". I made my DH a ring sling so I'm sure he'll let me use it hahaha.

Your dreams about a baby girl go along with the old wive's tale that you dream a baby of the opposite sex of the read gender of your baby. With all my babies I dreamed the wrong sex. Not sure why! lol

    It's getting close! Woohoo!

Natalie, see my head is really empty - you DID mention that!

Dayna, may be this time this is it. Though with girls I had dreams about them being girls. I guess will see!

3 more days! I am retaining water like crazy and I have developed... hemorrhoids (TMI!). I have NEVER had them in my life. But looks like this pregnancy is giving me a bouquet of I-have-never-had-these-in-my-life cases. Contractions come and go. And some of them are very intense and painful. If I had better hope for natural birth and/or someone to stay with me at the hospital during the day, I would seriously consider going in now.
We also decided to celebrated dd2's birthday on Saturday instead of Sunday (her birthday is my c-section date, but oh well) because on Sunday I have to go in to the hospital for the last check and the apparently MIGHT make me stay (if they find something wrong). I can still sign off and say no to staying but if it has to do with h/b of the baby I would have to stay in for more monitoring or an emergency c-section (fun, fun, fun!). I hope everything is ok since the baby's been head down for weeks and has no umbilical cord around his neck or any signs of distress. So FX, I get to sleep at home and just show up bright and early at the hospital for all the prep work and the actual surgery.
P.S. I am SO not looking forward to the spinal. It HURTS.
