Sounds like the new housing situation will work out very well!!

Sorry to hear about your family, it's difficult to deal with them sometimes even in the best of circumstances let alone when they live all over the globe. I'm glad you have close by friends that can be there for you!!

Thank you. I am sure we'll be fine either way. It would just be nice to have girls with the family member(s).

Tomorrow is my appointment. I think I will be having another growth ultrasound and I have to do my thyroid test again (really really don't want to cause I am afraid the results are still not good lol).

Back from my appointment. My BP today is 140 by 87. No wonder I was feeling faint since I woke up. Doctor keeps saying gaining 6 pounds a month is too much. Went back to check my sugar and NOW told me my fasting number was a bit high (it should be less than 5.1, mine was 5.1 but a other numbers were normal). I am a bit disappointed because she told me over a month ago it was fine! !!! Now I have to change my diet. Since no English speaking nutritionist I will have to figure it out myself. Also had blood drawn for thyroid and have to go back tomorrow morning for result. Good thing dh took half day off so I am home and resting and he took both girls out to play at the beach.

Thank you. I took a 2 hour nap, then ate lunch and feeling much better. I was going over my previous pregnancies in my head and remembered that my sugar situation was the same with dd1 and I was just told to cut down on sugar. No one suggested retesting that time or this time, so I guess I just have to be careful with simple carbs and stuff like chocolate (which is going to be hard cause chocolate helps me - as weird as it may sound - with acidity!).

Well, my thyroid function dropped some more. So I am starting allopathic thyroid meds from tomorrow. Once I have the baby I will go back to working on it with homeopathy.

I hope so too. Yesterday was an awful day - I was nauseated, had such acidity that it felt like it was poisoning me. Headache and I even got worried about BP but since it was 130 by 60 and Dr said it was OK I just took panadol as nothing else I could take. I am much better today. A bit woozy but I already made dinner (before 11 am) and packed 2 boxes of stuff. It is very humid with high chances of rain and yesterday it was very humid and windy and cool. So may be these drastic weather changes is what making me feel so bad. I actually only felt this way before the end of pregnancy with dd2 - migraines and constant desire to sleep.

Anyway, our friends are coming from another city on Thursday evening to help us finish packing and help us move on Saturday morning. I am so grateful to them. We have few more friends who offered here but unfortunately the days they are free are either before or after Saturday (they offered before we even knew the date of our move! Funny, huh?) . But I may take their offer of coming to help unpack or play with children while I run some errands etc.

I read on side effects of taking levothyroxin and it does say sleepy, nausea and headaches but my ob said it is mot likely to happen.

I hope the meds work well for you too. I haven't had thyroid problems but I know what havoc it can cause when your levels are off. And moving right now would be tough! Big hugs to you.

It is really not my week. We got key to the apartment but there was a little drama with the landlord. Won't go into details but it is hard dealing with a 70 year old Chinese lady who is strongly opinionated. We sorted it out and talked it through at the end.
I've had my allergies so bad past couple of days that had a bronchospasm yesterday. Must have been all the stress

Dd2 has high-ish fever today and on top of that I fell outside: twisted my foot while rolling her down the slope in a stroller, .landed on my 4s, got scared so much I would drop.her on her head that I didn't even care if I hurt myself but from shock I almost passed out and felt like vomiting. I didn't hit my belly or sides or back. Baby is happily moving and no bleeding. I feel like I am in some adventure movie!
On a positive note, I am almost done packing and even emptied 3 suitcases in the new place. Tomorrow we are moving!

Thank you! Sitting downstairs our apartment building with last couple of backpacks and our laptops, waiting for the driver to take me to the new apartment. All boxes and bags been moved already. Unpacking will take a whlie and I will probably end up throwing more stuff away lol
It was so touching - a friend came to the new house and brought us all lunch. And another friend booked the moving truck, bargained the price and oversaw all moving plus helped with our girls. Two friends travelled from another city and helped us with packing and moving few things. More friends volunteered to help after we moved to unpack of babysit. Feels nice that people are offering help and mean it.

My sprain actually hurt worse yesterday night . But must better this morning. So it isn't too bad after all.

So good to hear you had so many friends who helped you! I have never had friends do that for me. Such a blessing!

Sorry to hear you fell. Glad baby was okay. Hopefully your sprain will get better soon. I had worry that I would fall with this pregnancy. Thankfully I never did. Very scary.

This year my baby will have few playmates born with 1-2 month difference. Just got the news that my friend here delivered her baby girl via c-section. She was still in the operation room as I called but baby seems fine and so is mom. Exciting and reminds me I have just 2 months left to my baby is here!!!

Wow, such a blessing to get so much support! Moving is not fun so help is always nice!

Falling down while very pregnant is so scary! I'm so glad you are pretty much okay, except the sprain. Ouch!

Thank you, ladies. Friends are really awesome. Both expat and local Chinese. When I was at the hospital after having dd2 Chinese friends came every single day and brought me special local soups with fish or black chicken that they drink here for faster recovery. I think scientifically it has to do with fluids and whatever proteins and stuff you get but either way it helped a lot. So I try to remember all of that and count my blessings when I am down or feel the need to complain. There is a lot to be grateful for in life. Friends and my husband certainly make it easier to go through pregnancy he he

Today is my biweekly check which I originally thought to skip but since dh is home for holidays I decided I rather go. So I am in a cab at 6.40 am to stand in a long line to get a number to see my Dr. After that I will have 1.5 hours of nothing to do as she starts seeing preggos at 8.30.

Lol well, let's see. Had some blood cord check. Hb is 141. My BP was 139 by 93. Was told high. Have to check my mon-fasting sugar again - 2 hours after breakfast. Had to come back in the afternoon for another growth ultrasound - waiting for results. My ob I think forgot to tell me I needed one and I got lucky I got in today as whole of May is overbooked - lots of summer babies so lots of 3d ultrasounds. Seems all is OK so far? They won't confirm or deny the gender here as "not allowed by law". So I will continue thinking it is a boy until the baby is born.
