Yes! Just a few more days. I actually only felt nausea today because I was hungry.

Oh and my public bones are starting to ache! Especially in the inner thigh area as if I've been stretching for ballet!

I realized I haven't said anything about myself.

I'm 35, my dh is 37. I am from Russia but have been living in China for 12 years now. My husband grew up in Tanzania but has family on nearly every continent (except Antarctica! ). We have 2 girls : 5 years old and 17 months old. Both born here in China via c-section (1st was scheduled - she was breech with cord twice around her neck and I had low water; 2nd - emergency, she was full term, even 8 days overdue, I tried for vbac but it failed as I had 5 mm progress in 15 hours and contractions 2 min apart). I am a linguistic and hold MA in philology and teaching French and English and after being an ES teacher for over 10 years I moved onto early education (montessori, baby massage, perinatal fitness, breastfeeding consultancy etc). And I work with moms and children under 6 years old with both English and other subjects aimed at development, creativity etc.

Do you enjoy living in China? What took you there?

My pubic bones have been hurting as well. On sunday I was sitting on the floor fixing our Christmas tree and afterwards I could barely walk because I hurt so bad there.

I first came for a year to teach English, then just kept staying on. I like it here, yes!

Your life sounds incredibly interesting! We have discussed the possibility of moving out of the country if my DH was offered a transfer and we would really love to do it. It just seems like such a great experience.

Looking forward to hearing your updates Cheekygal!

After 2 days of no nausea it hit me hard yesterday. Mostly cause I am exhausted watching 2 sick kids. Last night I did sleep 6 consecutive hours! Yay! !! And so did my girls.

Hope you can get some sleep. I hate having insomnia. I've only had that once this pregnancy so far. I had it a lot with my DS.

Went to Hong Kong yesterday (which is a totally different planet for you, but for us - 70 min ferry ride) to see our homeopathy doctor who comes there from India 4 times a year. Well, I threw up on the way there and nearly three up on the way back! Horrible. I get seasick when I am pregnant! He gave me some emergency mess for nausea and acidity if it gets a worse on a regular basis. I also had my mess adjusted, for dd1 too and even dd2 got some good stuff for teething (last time we went she had all swollen gums but the teeth wouldn't pop and as soon as I gave 2 doses of her previous teething meds from him she had 4 molars cut through! I kept giving and 3 more cut almost right away. It just helped with pain I guess she was getting from teething).
I will go for a 12 weeks ultrasound this week even though my Dr isn't there. Just to see how everything is.

Thank you! Nausea is hard. But dinner was Japanese noodle soup and their spicy cucumber. So that helped a bit!

Chinese food overload! From what I hear it is very different from what you get abroad. I didn't even eat dinner and had nausea in the evening.

    Thank you!
I had my 13 weeks ultrasound. Doctor moved me to July 1st but said it could be June 30th. Baby looked awesome. Moved so much, I loved seeing tiny hands and feet flipping! No picture as they ran out of film and dd2 was laying down on me as she was crying. H/b was 152. Yay!
