    Default Crystal Deodarant

Um, wow! This really works. I finally tried it on your suggestions and this is the the ONLY thing that has ever kept me odor free. I haven't gotten really sweaty with it on yet but it works very well for just my normal daily activities. It works for about 24 hours, too.

Regular deodorant/antiperspirant doesn't do a thing for me and at least now I can be odor free.

I'm glad that it works for somebody! Maybe I didn't use it correctly but it did nothing for me.

It works for me too. Well, up until recently due to crazy pregnancy hormones.

It certainly isn't an antiperspirant so if you are looking for that, this won't help. I generally just skipped everything since they didn't work and usually just irritated my skin so I am quite pleased.

i'm glad it worked! I use an all natural one that is similar to the crystal (i forget the brand), but I only use it on days where I dont go to the gym. Otherwise, I fear being the smelly girl.

It did not work for me either but I finally found one that does - an essential oil blend spray

It isn't working as well now that it is hot out. I put it on at night after I shower and depending on how hot I get at night and during the day lasts 8 to 18 hours. If I am actively sweating it doesn't help.

I'm having great luck with using a stainless steel odor bar in the shower and a deodorant I make using bentonite clay, coconut oil, lemon essential oil.

Where did you get the recipe? I do have a stainless steel bar but it doesn't seem to remove odor for me. I've tried that in the morning if I already smell to no effect.

This is the recipe I follow. With the stainless steel bar, It has to be wet, so using it in the shower is most efficient and you have to rub it on your skin for at least 30 seconds.

Thank you. I don't have problems with smelling right out of the shower. I thought that the stainless steel bar was just yo remove smells. Does it also prevent them? Is there any benefit to switching from soap to a stainless steel bar?

ooh I'd love to know that too...Bridget - did you get your stainless steel bar on Amazon? I remember (I think Carrie) talking about them a long time ago.

My understanding is that it kills odor causing bacteria. I use it in the shower but it lasts all day. I also use my homemade deodorant but it's not as effective if I skip the bar. I actually lost the bar for a couple of weeks after we traveled and I started to have issues with BO midday again. I still use soap.
I bought it off amazon. Tip: it's much less expensive under kitchen supplies than health and beauty.

I'll give it a shot in the shower then, after I use soap. I did buy the kitchen bar and not the health/beauty bar. It's way cheaper that way.
