    Default Desitin Cream?

I had my baby shower the other day and I got SO much Desitin cream in the wishing well. I'm a FTM, so I've never heard of it. I have some research to do, but anyone have any info on it readily accessible?

Desitin is zinc oxide and a couple other ingredients. It is not cloth safe. It is the old school diaper rash cream and it does work but you must make sure the skin is 100% dry before you apply otherwise it actually seals in the moisture under it and that does not help. We use it when DD has a rash that just won't go away and use a barrier between that and the cloth diaper, tossing the barrier usually. We don't use it much because it is not cloth safe.
