    This is my thinking as well. I think the computer that DD and #2 will be allowed to use will be a stationary desktop and they will have a certain amount of time per day to be able to use it.

    Yes, I would, and we most likely will when my oldest reaches school age. He will be allowed to use it for school and limited entertainment purposes. My laptop is an expensive one and there is no way I am allowing him to touch it. Plus, it would be easier for him to navigate a simpler computer with just his and eventually his brother's stuff (as opposed to my completely cluttered one). If we have the space for a desktop, that would be an option, but I don't see a problem with a laptop since I love the portability and size.
