I've missed you ladies!
Whew, it's been a while since I've posted on here, I've missed you all! I was out of town all last week and the days leading up to departure were so hectic trying to get out of town. Fast forward to this week, and playing catch up here at work has been a whirlwind too!
Anyway, I am trying to read recent posts and catch up with everyone. Things are good here for the most part. I had my routine monthly Dr. visit Monday, my Dr. does an U/S at every apt. Anyway, he showed me that there could be a possibility of some placenta previa, but he wasn't saying for sure and is hopeful that if there is, it will correct itself prior to delivery. Ugh! I have the anatomy scan tomorrow morning, so the perinatologist will probably be able to tell me more, but my Dr. warned that they my try and scare me to death! He didn't yet recommend any reduced activity for me, but I've stopped jogging this week as a precaution until we know more. Otherwise, everything else looks great!
Also, my friend who lost her twins in Feb. and got pregnant again recently called Tuesday morning to tell me she had miscarried. I am just devastated for her and her DH, they have been through so many struggles to have a healthy baby. It seems so unfair. Anyway, all I can do is be there for her through this and listen/lend a shoulder to cry on.
Well, that's about it. I can't believe many of us are already half way to meeting our babies, this pregnancy has flown by!
Hey! I was wondering where you were.
So sad to hear about your friend. So unfair!
Hopefully that placenta will move itself away! The u/s tech told me the same thing and assured me that it's totally possible for it to move away before delivery. Here's hoping that's the case for the both of us!
