Thread: Update this cycle

  1. #1

    Default Update this cycle

So I have been on a fairly low dose of Follistim and I went in for follicle scan yesterday, CD 9 and I had 5 follicles. 1 at 20, 1 at 17, 2 at 15, and one at 14. RE gave me an additional shot of 75iu Bravelle last night and I take my last 75iu of Follistim tonight. I am really hoping that we get all 5 to mature. So if I don't get a positive OPK, I will trigger on Sunday night and go in for an IUI on Tuesday morning (cd 13). This is our last IUI before moving on to IVF, so I am really hoping we get our BFP!!

I have been a silent stalker. The follies sound great! I hope they continue to grow and lead to a BFP!

Thanks Erika. I am not sure that all 5 will mature. The RE gave me more meds to feed them more before trigger in hopes that the 14 would make it. Fingers crossed that this IUI will work. How is your preg going? I am so excited for you!!

Well, we head in this morning for our IUI. I start work at 6:45 am, so I have to go to work first. Then I have to go back to work after the IUI. I am hoping this wont hurt the process. I also wanted to wish Tripmom good luck today too!!! Fingers crossed for our BFPs!!

Thanks! Good luck to you too. Going back to work after won't harm a thing...as long as you are not in a position where you are very physical.

Mine is in a couple hours...I am not feeling any real 'O' pains yet, I'm hoping it kicks up soon.

Okay ladies, I had the FSP (where they inject the sperm throughout your Fallopian tubes) and it was extremely painful!! I have felt okay since then, but not sure the procedure went the way it should have. I did do a scan right before the FSP and I had one 22, one 21, one 17 and one 15. They don't think the 15 will ovulate. So I had three fairly strong ones. I really hope the procedure was fine and that we get our BFP!!

    How was your IUI Tripmom?

Oh I was also going to mention that DH had 24 million sperm post wash. I think that is fairly good.

    Sounds really great!

Mine went good. 13 million sperm, regular IUI. I started feeling some pretty strong 'O' pains 5-6 hours later...so hopefully the sperm are still there and do their thing

Okay, so today I started the progesterone (prometrium) and today, I had white discharge throughout the day. I thought it was cervical mucus, but then I began to worry that maybe it was bad. Any idea of what I could be dealing with? Thanks!

It is probably just the prog. leaking back out, that is pretty common.

Yeah with Crinone, it's a Progesterone taken vaginally, I had ALOTTT of clay like discharge, called the RE and they said every other day it's okay to manually clean it out because it was hurting after 4 days and I started bleeding from the irritating on my cervix. It also varied in color from salmon to grey to white then brown... fun stuff. Sounds normal to me!
