They called me a little after 5pm to say they hadn't gotten it from the lab yet !! The nurse said the dr would check again tonight and email the results to me...gah, the waiting !! How do they not have a stat order done within 6hrs? I could get my blood drawn at my lab and pick up a copy of the results in an hour and a half. Now I know to always use my lab (only 5mins from home) .

They did apologize and seemed just as irritated as me...and they had the courtesy to call and let me know. Definitely an improvement over the mw!!

Yeah, more than 6 hours for that Stat test seems ridiculous...

STAT = 2 hour turn around time. This is some BS!

and I get upset when my stat takes 4hrs and it has to travel an hour south to the docs before they relay it to me! I will think twice about being angry next time!! Overnight would kill me!

Beta is in....the message from my dr:

I just received your beta HCG level tonight. I am sorry we did not get it during clinic hours. The level today is 172. As you told reported to me today, it was last 51 on 4/15/2013. This represents an approximate doubling every 48 hours, which would be expected in a normal pregnancy. At this point, your diagnosis is a "threatened" abortion, referring to bleeding during the first trimester of pregnancy without evidence of prior or impending miscarriage. I would recommend repeating an HCG level on Monday (4/22) to better understand your trend, though at this time the levels appear to be increasing appropriately. I would recommend contacting the REI clinic regarding what to do about your aspirin and progesterone. If your HCG level on Monday continues to increase, I would consider this is to be a viable pregnancy, and we will get you referred to the high risk OB clinic at the University as they will be the most appropriate physicians to handle your pregnancy care given your history. The HCG is already ordered for Monday, you just have to come to clinic to have the level drawn.

Oh my word...sooooo happy right now !!! Beta is still low but we're making progress...cmon baby stick !!!!!!!

Praying for a good beta Monday! I'm totally overwhelmed by her response...really feeling like this she is so on top of things and really listened !

Thank you so much ladies for your thoughts and prayers...keep them coming!! I think I need to get my ticker back, change my siggy, and get myself back to Dec dd room *happy tears*!
