Default Anyone want to boycott Eden Foods?

    Did you see this? http://www.salon.com/2013/04/15/eden...ntrol_outrage/

Thank you for posting this. This one had slipped under the radar. The idiot failed to have recognized that women are his primary customer, and the crunchy granola crowd especially tends to run socially liberal.

I'd heard about this last week on FB. I used to buy their beans, but won't anymore. This one ranks up there for me with when Lululemon came out with all the "Who is John Galt" hooey on their shopping bags.

He makes no sense. I don't even know who the company is so I can't really boycott

I don't think I've heard of an insurance that didn't cover birth control! That's news to me!

Things are a little crazy, but I'm loving every minute of it My Blog

Christina...it's actually not uncommon for insurance to not pay for the pill or at least it used to be. My dad was an autoworker and my mom used to complain all the time that they would cover Viagra but not the pill. So all the men who worked there (and it was a lot more men than women) could get viagra but their wives had to pay out of pocket for the pill. When I wanted to go on it, I went to planned parenthood even though I was on my dad's insurance until i got married at 24. It was even worse for my sister because they put her on the pill at age 16 due to PCOS. She was having like one cycle a year and they were concerned about the lining getting too thick. So she was on it for a true medical reason, not as a contraceptive. And yet dad's insurance wouldn't pay for it.

This is definitely not something I would have expected from a company like this though. Way to piss off most of your buyers!

Ridiculous. He must have missed a bio class or two...where they taught about how it takes a man and a woman to have a baby. I don't think I have bought any of their products but I certainly wont now! He also must have missed a whole lot of marketing classes! Fool.

Check out their facebook page. They haven't even bothered to respond to their buyers' concerns. Lousy, lousy, lousy marketing/PR/business strategy. I wouldn't be surprised if they went out of business.

Sounds like he won't be surprised either, based on his comment when asked if there has been an impact. I think this is ridiculous. His double speak and saying he doesn't care about a woman's body and then perusing the law suit. Is all just...senseless.

Ughhh I am so disappointed to read this. I really love this company's products. The guy is a freaking jerk though.
