Default trying again now with a plan from the doctor

In my posts earlier with my struggles and new diagnosis of PCOS and borderline insulin resistance my doctor and I have decided to see how well I do on a very strict low carb diet. I was told today to keep the carbs as low as 40-50 carbs a day. I am going to cooperate. This is very surprising how low, low, low that is.

Wow that's certainly is super low!! Good luck.

I recently found a recipe for Asian style lettuce wraps and they are amazing!!!! I don't know how many carbs are in the meal but it must be low since its just chicken, lettuce and some saucy marinade stuff for the chicken.

That does sound amazing! Could you PM the recipe?

I know its a huge, huge, huge adjustment for me I was a carb-o-holic so I've been sort of crabby thought I know it will be worth it in the end.

I track on myfitnesspal.com and per my MD keep my carbs under 100/day. New personal goal is to lower my fat content... I've found good recipes on Pinterest. I'm not a bread person but put pasta in front of me and I'm done!

I'll been writing them down because my doctor told me all vegetable except for peas, corn, and carrots are freebies. When I do an internet tracker it counts the salad I eat as carbs which makes things confusing for me but, I'll look on fitnesspal.com for recipes. If something has fiber in it you subtract the fiber but, the computer also doesn't do that. Thanks for the tips!
