    Default A little sad...

DH is leaving on another det tomorrow...for 3 weeks...but he'll be on the west coast so there is a 3 hour time difference and he's going to be working 12 on 12 off...so its going to make for interesting times to make phone calls lol. But I'm just having bad anxiety over it because the past couple weeks, I've just been so overwhelmed...and exhausted, and all that comes with having a 2 and 4 year old all while being 7-8 months pregnant lol. and the thought of doing it for 3 weeks straight with NO help has me stressed. I know it could be worse, he could be on a 7-10 month deployment, but I just don't want him to go tomorrow

Oh my, I don't blame you a bit! I am sitting here feeling sorry for myself because my DH has to work all day tomorrow, and he usually has the weekends off, but I have nothing to complain about.
Our boys are the same age, so I know how exhausting the days can be. I'm so sorry that you are going to have to do it alone for three weeks. I hope they at least take great naps and sleep well at night for you while he is gone!

Thanks. My family is actually all on the west coast. and his parents are down in FL...(we're in VA), so its not so easy. I have things to keep us busy throughout the week mostly, but for the times I don't, it gets lonely. My 4 year old doesn't nap, so that won't happen lol, but when his brother takes a nap (which takes awhile to get him down now since we switched his room), he is pretty good just me and him...Night time with them sharing a room now with bunk beds, it takes longer for them to fall asleep, but I'm hoping that eventually that will change LOL...

Thanks ladies for the support! Its more hard to hear your 4 year old cry that he doesn't want his daddy to go and that he misses him :/ But he comes home on Easter, so we just have to look forward to that

Hope your day today wasn't so bad with your DH having to work. Its hard anytime I think. I'm not one to judge, 3 months, 3 weeks or 3 days LOL...when they're gone, you miss them, I GET IT!!

Thanks, yea i can't really hire a babysitter due to money situations, however, I do have things to do to keep busy...and Thursday my friend is keeping them for me to do the grocery shopping BY MYSELF Thats always a plus LOL.
