Baby girl Rebecca is doing good. Lots of movement and they are getting strong. Feeling great other then heartburn. DS is finally catching on and realizing there is a baby in there and she will be arriving in a few months. I'm going through clothes and just bought her a bunch of shoes. We have our wish list finalized and now just have to buy them when we can and hopefully we will get a lot gifted to us if not gift cards. Nothing else on baby front.

In other news DH has to have back surgery before she is born so hopefully we get it done asap so he can hold her. He also may be out of work from 3 months to a year or they may not allow him to go back. We dont know yet.

Though with DH's surgery I may allow my BFF to do a baby shower to get us some of the petty stuff we will need for her so we can focus on the big things especially not knowing when his short term disability will kick in. UGH the next few months are going to be difficult.

Well thats about it for us.

My FIL, his dad and his sister all had back surgeries. They would do it all over again. Recovery does take awhile.

As you all know, we are having another boy and no name is for sure yet. The placenta still blocks a lot of the movements but I do feel the baby regularly throughout the day. I hope having the placenta where it is will protect the rib that my other son messed up. My heartburn has been much better lately for which I am thankful. There is no rhyme or reason for the change.

I am glad to hear your heartburn is a little better Jessica. I had horrible heartburn with DD. It was awful. This one I only have it every once in awhile.

Baby Adam is going crazy moving around in there! I think I have an active little boy on my hands. I have also been having more BH recently. The OB said it can happen if I'm dehydrated so maybe I need to drink more water. Anybody else having BH regularly?

I get some when I have not drank enough. I am not seeing them very often but if its anything like with DS give me a few weeks and they will kick in.

No BH contractions here either but I have never felt a contraction outside of labor with any of my pregnancies.

I haven't had any either. I get headaches really bad when I get a little dehydrated but no BH.

I wonder if it's related to the recurrent bladder infections I apparently keep having... no symptoms but my urine test is positive for it. I am starting my 3rd round of antibiotics tonight and my OB told me that she wants me to stay on antibiotics until I deliver because of the risk of preterm delivery if I have an infection. Earlier this week I had a dream that my water broke at 24.5 weeks, which is today -- it has me a little freaked out but hopefully infection stays away and baby stays put for quite a while longer! On the bright side, maybe I won't be peeing quite as often if I can get the infections under control!

I think I had some BH the other day. I traveled up to Nebraska to see my sister and niece over Spring Break. LO did NOT like the seat belt! Kick kick kick all the way there! He was worse when I was driving than when my mom was. Monday, my belly felt really hard and I had the sensation of a cramp that just wouldn't let go. My sis said that was what her BH felt like. So, I guess so. I thought I wouldn't feel those yet.

I have an issue with water. Whenever I wash my hands, they get really red around the knuckles and wrists and itch like crazy. I've even has small cuts open up. And I've got horrendous stretch marks on my hips/outer thighs and buttocks! My stomach is fine, go figure. My next appt is on Thurs and I have a bunch of issues to talk about.

I bought and received a ton of boy clothes while in Nebraska. Finally getting a little bit excited about baby shopping. I also bought my stroller and pack n play/bassinet sets, so this week was expensive!!

I'm so glad to be home and see my hubby again. He left on the 4th for training in the field, I saw him on post on the 8th to drop off the car before I left for Nebraska, and then have finally gotten to spend a good portion of the day with him when I got home this afternoon. He leaves again for more in the field training sometime within the next week, so March is just not good for us being together much. :<

I swear my kitten grew two sizes while I was gone for a week!! Sheesh!

Ok so here is a very foolish sounding help for heartburn, but 2 babies ago mine was so bad I started getting esophagus ulsers and got desperate with the cures/helps. This isn't 100 percent but did help immensely. Eat 1/4 or more of a red delicious apple. Very silly sounding I know, but hey, when you're desperate give it a try! At least it's healthy and no medicine side effects!

Hey ladies , I'm so glad to be able to get back on APA. Katie and I are doing great. She is getting stronger every day and has given me a few kicks/punches that actually hurt . My boys love to feel her move around. Youngest DS lays on my belly and giggles every time she kicks him in the side of the head . My MS is gone, but now I get constant heartburn and severe leg cramps every night that wake me up out of a dead sleep. I got a cramp in my calf a few nights ago and stood up half asleep in an effort to get the pain to go away and I think I tore a muscle . I can not stand bananas, but forced myself to eat a half of one a few days ago, but it didn't make a difference. Is anyone else having a problem with leg/foot cramps?

The only thing that worked for my leg cramps was a banana a day and I choked it down. You can try magnesium supplements, too, which they consider to the causative agent in the banana. The cramps were awful and I would hurt for days afterward.

No cramps here, but I did have my first near-fainting spell in church yesterday. LO was kicking my kidneys (I think -- because I was getting sporadic stings in that area) and then I got some BH that wouldn't let me quite catch my breath if I was standing. Scared the heck out of the old lady behind me at first, then she just mothered me to death after finding out I wasn't sick, just having "baby pains". She's the one who keeps telling me I don't look pregnant even though my belly now pokes a bit past my boobs. The discomfort passed after about 30 minutes, but then one of my friends hassled me for hours, insisting I should have gone to the ER. Really? *sigh*

That's what I thought. I see my doc again Thursday. I've got a few things on my list of concerns, so I'm sure it will be a terribly fun visit. This friend has never had a baby and over-reacts to everything I experience. She cares about me, which is appreciated, but she has been projecting her hypochondria onto me. It's kind of exhausting.
