    Default Movement from the outside?

I'm wondering when people can usually feel the baby's movements from the outside. When I put my hand on my stomach I can't tell if I'm really feeling it on my hand or if I'm just feeling it inside lol as silly as that sounds. I'm 21 weeks

I began feeling a couple weeks ago in certain places but with DS it wasnt until 24 weeks that DH could feel him. It could also be where your placenta is located that is affecting it.

This time around DH says he can already feel small movements when the baby is moving alot. But with DD it was closer to 24-25 weeks because I had an anterior placenta.

DH and I have both felt some movements from outside, but since the placenta is smack dab in front there are just small movements down low and way on each side. I'm not sure that I'll get much elbow and knee feelings - just hands and feet.

DS felt it today though his feverish stupor since he was cuddling against my belly. He looks up at me and goes, "Mommy baby is kicking me! There is a baby in there!" I think its finally clicking in his mind that there is a baby in there.

With my first, I didn't feel movement from the outside til around 24 weeks, but this time around I have been feeling it for a while. I love when I can actually see the baby moving by just looking at my belly!

I have felt movement from the outside for about a couple of weeks... I am 20.2 weeks today. DS and my sister have both said they feel Zoey moving but DH still says he can't feel her. She only lets daddy's hand on my belly without going kick crazy! Everyone and everything else causes her to go at her kick-boxing.. lol

We have only felt it low and with a firm pushing of the hand into my abdomen. Not any kind of just resting my hand on my belly movement, and only a couple of times. I have my placenta in the front. It sounds silly to say but I know exactly what you mean when you can't tell if you're 'feeling' it with your hand or from the inside.
