    Default Another boy on the way!

    We had our ultrasound this morning and definitely have a little boy on the way. A healthy, little boy measuring 13 oz and 20w6d! The placenta is exactly where I guessed it to be - right in front - so it makes sense that I have only been feeling pressure there with movement down low, way on the left side and a small amount way on the right side.

    My sister is now 6/6 for all the kids in our family. I'm going to start calling her the baby whisperer.

    My DH is very happy as he and his brother are the only boys in his generation so only their children will carry on the family name. His brother's wife just had a hysterectomy, too, due to severe endometriosis and we aren't sure that they plan on adopting.

    I just wanted to add that everything looks wonderful with him. I was still a bit nervous since I was so sick with Influenza A at 11 weeks and really wasn't feeling normal again until about 18 weeks. I am very blessed!

    Congratulations on your little boy! I am so happy to hear he is healthy!! He weighs an ounce more than mine and you're 3 days ahead of me.
    I'm still on a high from my u/s yesterday! It's the best.
    Are you sharing with your kids that its a baby brother?

    Yes we did tell the kids. Madelyn still said that the baby was a little girl but when I said that this summer she would have two baby brothers she thought that was fabulous.

    We've briefly started to talk names now. Right now I love that part...I may hate it later if we can't agree.

    Congrats on a great u/s and another little boy!!! For us it was much easier picking DS2's name... hopefully it is for you too!

    Congratulations on your healthy baby boy!

    Your description of movement is just how it feels for me. Doc said my placenta was in the front too.
