    Default Scans this week

    Who all is due for their ultrasound this week??? Also I totally think of the anatomy scan as the ULTRAsound. So geeky.

    Mine is FRIDAY!

    Mine is next Friday. They want me to be more than 20 weeks present even though my doctor wanted it done this week.
    Jessica (32) and Ryan (31). Madelyn born August 5, 2009 and Malachi born December 23, 2010. Lost a loved baby 02/29/12, 05/14/12 and 07/05/12 all due a serious allergic reaction to fabric softener.

    Can't believe I'm the only one this week! Just got a call from the doctor's office.... appointment got moved back 2 hours! Ack! I guess it could have gotten cancelled. Bright side, right? ;)

    I had mine on Monday. Everything was great. Radiology had told me that it was going to be a placenta previa check and my Level 2 wouldn't be until the end of March. They also told me to drink 32 oz of water before the appt. I did, but when hubby was driving us to the hospital, a kid darted out in front of us, hubby slammed on the brakes, and the seatbelt heimliched me. I vomited water all over the car and me. Then the nurse told me that it was my Level 2, but they would check my placenta, and to go to the bathroom before they started the scan because I did NOT need to have drank all that water. I think they filed a complaint with Radiology on my behalf.

    Anyway, no signs of spina bifida or Down Syndrome, he's showing as being 3 days ahead of schedule, and we saw (sort of) his boy bits. It was really hard to tell what we were supposedly looking at in terms of that. This was the first u/s that my hubby got to see and will probably be the only one. They said I don't need any more and that the placenta is posterior and no longer previa. They also said they were positive the baby will be healthy.

    So, overall, I was super-happy.

    Congrats to all you with healthy baby boys! Are we a little short on girls, now?

    Mine is Friday! I hate that this ultrasound place wants to wait so long. I didn't have my big ultrasound with my first until I was 22 weeks pregnant because of that.

    Thanks everyone we are so excited! Gabby wanted a brother and now that we know she has been saying "but when will there be a girl baby?" guess we'll just have to keep on going. LOL. So excited to watch the chart fill up and see how the girl v. Boy plays out. Good luck ladies!

    I am banking on mine being a girl(we did not find out)...so...we shall see. This is my 5th baby, so I think I am pretty good at determining what I see on the big screen, LOL!
