    Cool telling people

so I was wondering who has told people or if you told everybody that you guys are pregnant? did you finally tell fb?

I have already told my family that I was pregnant when I found out. But when I was 13 weeks I told my shirt. And I just recently 1 week ago told Facebook.

    so how is everyone doing?
me I've been feeling much more movement now and getting my lot more and more hungry. When I don't eat when I'm hungry I start to get super super sick I still in dealing with a lot of fatigue but the doctor says that will go away pretty soon. so I'm looking forward to that. My next appointment is March 20th. I'm also going to get another ultrasound that day so I'll get to see my little girl. That day is also dh birthday.

I kept it to myself aside from 2 best friends and my husband until we had our 14 week appt and things were still progressing. I had a 10 week miscarriage inbetween #2 and #3 and so having to back peddle was torture on me. I told our kids when I was about 17 weeks.

Feeling good. More and more movement with each week. Still suffering a lot of insomnia, but otherwise good.

We told family Christmas eve and then told FB after my NT scan which was at 13 weeks. Its still amusing as people find out that are not connected that closely. We are apart of the Fairboard and put on our county fair every year, most of the committee is just finding out that I am due the week after fair. Now they are all trying to accommodate me so I dont get overheated or too worn out. lol its hilarious.

I am doing great. Began going to the chiropractor last week and it has helped tremendously. 2 days till my u/s! I am so ready to stop saying s/he or the baby. I want to differentiate but no one gets to know the name till birth so it will be funny trying to avoid saying it once its picked.

I am the same way with my food. If I dont eat enough I get sick. That and heartburn is crazy this time around.

We made a big FB announcement concerning our relocation and the baby last week (baby in July, move August 1st 12 hours away). I was going to wait until after my ultrasound this Friday but since I am clearly looking pregnant now I just went ahead with it.

The nausea is essentially gone but the heartburn is really kicking up. I take some TUMS during the day and then a zantac at night if I can't sleep because of it. I normally take calcium supplements so I'm skipping those for now since the TUMS give me 60% of the daily requirement of calcium in two tablets. Besides that nothing really crazy is going on. I do have pregnancy insomnia every so often but not so frequently that I'm concerned about it. I am also getting pretty hungry.

I had to tell a number of people very early, because of the miscarriage threat. At 4 weeks, I started cramping and bleeding and dh called the Nurse Advice Line. She told me to get to the ER right then and there, when I was supposed to be standing as godmother to my niece in an hour. So, in tears, I told my mom and grandmother as I explained why I was going to the hospital instead of the church, then called my sister. She told the pastor, who was able to delay the baptism until I was released (instead of 1st thing, they did it last), but he announced my pregnancy in his sermon. Which was . . . odd. lol Since my sister's in-laws now all knew, we called my two best friends, who are more like my sisters, and dh's mom once we were released.

For the rest of family and friends, we told them Dec 29th at our vow renewal ceremony's after-dinner and then I posted it on FB the next day. Our genetics test revealed the gender in January, so I announced that with a few phone calls and then FB. We gave the baby a nickname (Leroy) because we plan to reveal the name (if we ever figure one out) after his birth. I would have waited until at least the beginning of the 2nd trimester because mom suffered so many miscarriages, but it was pretty much out of my hands. FWIW, the ER doc (who I liked) couldn't figure out why the nurse on the advice line was so adamant I go to the ER if I wasn't bleeding heavily enough to soak pads. She felt the nurse got us all worked up for nothing.

I'm on Prilosec because my heartburn is so bad and I have GERD. I'm starving quite often. I do have to fight to get vegetables down because as soon as I start eating them, I suddenly want to throw up. It's very, very annoying. I also am really craving sweets when I'm more of a salty snack person. (I do still crave salty foods, especially ones I know I shouldn't eat, like ramen. Man, I love ramen.) I've gained a few pounds back from all the loss, but I still am 5 pounds less than pre-pregnancy. I definitely have a bump that protrudes about even with my bust, but so many people keep telling me I don't look pregnant, whether I'm wearing maternity clothes or not. Very frustrating to me.

I'm taking a trip to Nebraska on Friday to visit my sister, bil and their baby. We plan to drive in to Omaha, so I'm going to insist on going to a lingerie store to get re-fitted. I feel so squished up top. *sigh* Please tell me I'll go back down to a more reasonable size after the nursing. I don't want to be an F or worse.

Oh! We finally felt movement on Sunday night. I woke up to the sensation that something was walking inside me (that sounds ickier than it felt, but that's the only way to describe it that makes sense to me), so I woke hubby up to tell him. I'd put my hand on the outside of my belly, but didn't expect to actually feel anything externally, and then I did. So I grabbed his hand and held it in the same spot for a few minutes. I was just about to let him go back to sleep when he said, "OH!" He said it felt like I had hiccuped. I'm so glad he got to feel the movement, because I had to drop him off at work this morning at 3 am and won't see him again til St. Patrick's Day. He has to spend the first and last weeks of March living in a tent, training for Afghanistan and then I'll be gone for the week of Spring Break (which is early here in Texas). Looking forward to April!

My next OBGYN appt is March 21st. The u/s last week said "Leroy" weighs 11 oz and is 11 cm long. I'm nervous about having a big baby!

It is out for us! All family knew by the new year. Close daily friends knew at that time too. Told my out of town girlfriends over the last few last weeks (they kept trying to plan a reunion the first weekend of August!) Facebook found out over this last weekend with a gender status update after my 20 week ultrasound. This last week I have blown up and can't hide it any more. I mostly just wanted my body to tell people because I'm uncomfortable sharing news.

Severe tailbone pain! Holey moley. Is that sciatica? I was in tears last night trying to move around in bed. Also, nothing fits! Not even maternity from last time around! uUgh. This baby is sooooooo low! Placenta in front but still feel quit a bit of movement. Cranky as hceck. Poor DH. Looking forward to a girls weekend in two weeks! Need a break.

We told immediate family and close friends early on, then told extended family right before Christmas, and posted it on FB on Christmas (13 weeks along). I couldn't keep it a secret for much longer, plus I was definitely starting to show!

I have had a little more energy recently (yay!) and re-organized DS's closet yesterday. Next step is clean out the closet in the baby's room and then we can paint and decorate. We have to wait til April because DH's parents will come down then and take the extra bed out of our house so we have room to get the baby's room ready. Lol, right now we have our king size bed, a queen size, a full size, a twin size, a toddler bed, crib, and bassinet all set up. We do not have enough space for all this stuff plus new baby stuff!

I am having a ton of pelvic pain too. One of my co-workers worked on it today and I felt a lot better afterward. For a while I was getting a sharp pain in my pubic bone every time I took a step. Ugh!

Mariel, sciatica is pain starting in the buttock and radiating down the leg. If your pain was more in the tailbone, it's probably not sciatica, but could be the pelvis shifting and putting pressure on the tailbone as your ligaments loosen. Either way, not fun!

We told all of our family & friends around Christmas time. I was only 9 weeks but I had already had a dating u/s so we felt confident. I haven't done the FB reveal. I am waiting until we know the gender. Our u/s is next Friday so I can't wait!! I am feeling pretty good. I am starting to feel more movement & even felt my first real kick last week. It was awesome!
