    Default Hello ladies!

    It been a long and hard pregnancy for me the last Few months which is why I've been absent! Helen Lakyn made her debut on feb. 8th and was 3lbs 8oz and 16 inches- with a headful of soft dark hair and was born with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. We are still in the NICU, but other than trying to get up to 4lbs so we can go home we are super healthy with no other major problems Will post pictures as soon as I get on a computer!

    sorry about the hard pregnancy.....I hope Helen gets to come home soon!!! I've cared for three girls with Cornelia de Lange syn. (ages 14-20) over a six year period. I know you will face challenges but it is SO WORTH IT!!!! Congrats on your new tiny addition! I hope Helen's health and weight improve quickly so you can start your new family home life!
