Oh sweet girl! Is there anything more pitiful than a baby in a hospital gown? Sounds like Justavirus. Frustrating to not know what it is, or how to treat it. One of my daughters used to get a very high fever whenever she was sick. She was hospitalized twice with an illnes that was just a high fever. Both times we heard a lot of mentions of Kawasaki's disease, I'm guessing you did too. But after days of fever and oodles of tests, the fever broke and all was well.

I literally said "Awwww" out loud when I saw her pic in the hosp gown. If only she knew that now would be a great time to ask for a pony or something awesome!

Her labs are much better, but her CRP is still a bit elevated at 4.6 or so. Pedi is calling the infectious disease doctor to see what he thinks and she might be getting an x-ray to rule out radiographic pneumonia (I mentioned it to the pedi and she said she had thought of it this morning as well). Starting oral antibiotics today.

You must be so relieved.

i am so sorry but kind of really glad you have a definitive diagnosis. Hope she heals really soon!
