    Default Maternity Clothes and Bras

Where do you shop for Bras during pregnancy? I don't want to spend a ton of money if I am going to have to buy multiple sizes for the next 7 plus months. Do they sell maternity bras that stretch and grow-wishful thinking. What about maternity clothes? How much room do they give? Should you wait to buy until further along? Thanks for the help!

I buy my bras at Kohls. I've never bought maternity bras. When I was pregnant with my son, I bought new bras around 10 weeks and they fit me until I delivered him and while I was breastfeeding. I am wearing those same bras now at 11 weeks with this baby. I just bought some maternity jeans becasue all of my maternity stuff from before is summer stuff and they should fit until I deliver. I bought maternity clothes around 14 weeks last pregnancy and most of them fit until I delivered. If you need clothes, I would go buy them now. You will feel so much better when you have comfortable fitting clothes!

For the most part I agree with jennru, except that I had to get much bigger bras after delivery. I had to go up to a crazy size after delivery and then gradually went back down to a normal bra size.

I was the same with maternity bras. I fit in my normal VS bras until about a month before DS was delivered (he was early) and then went up a few sizes after he was born and started nursing. Once that milk comes in it fills those puppies up pretty good I didn't buy much with DS, if I wasn't at work then I was in pjs This time around I am waiting since spring and summer should be coming around the corner and I plan on hitting up Khols and Old Navy for maxi skirts and some soft tees and tanks from Target for this baby.

I have never had to buy new bras when pregnant, just more nursing bras after baby is born...but if you do need some, I wouldn't spend much on them. Target, Walmart?

I had to go up a size (34A to 34B) and the new bras are a revelation! Makes me wonder if I was wearing the wrong size before... I get a 2 for 1 pack at Target for $16.99 - they aren't very exciting (underwire, peach and white, not padded or push up) but it's been great to have ones that fit well. They are inexpensive for a reason - never put them in the dryer! The underwire will pop out.
