    Default First Real Kick

So I was sitting at my desk doing some data entry & the baby was moving around a little. I still don't feel anything consistent but when I sit still I can get the baby to move. Then all of a sudden there was a soft kick right below my belly button! I love that feeling!!

Awesome!! I'll bet that just made your day! Can't wait for those kicks, although at this point I want them more so my daughters can feel and "get it" that mama isn't just "fat" LOL but that there really is a baby in there!

It did make my day I really thought since this is my 2nd pregnancy in 2 years that I would feel the movements sooner since I know what they feel like but I really didn't feel much until this past week so this is pretty cool. I can't wait for DD to feel/see the movement. She is 1 1/2 so she doesn't really understand yet but she does kiss my belly & point to it & say "baby". My DS is excited too. When I was pregnant with DD he didn't know what to expect but now he can't wait to see this one move around in my belly.

When did you start to feel movement in your previous pregnancy? I've been feeling movement in the past week too, but no official "kick" it's so exciting when it happens! I hope your dd gets to feel it soon!

I started feeling them around 19 weeks with DD but I didn't feel them all the time until around 22 weeks due to an anterior placenta. Maybe I have that again but I don't think so because these are definitely stronger movements. I guess I just expected to start feeling them around 17 weeks. I don't know why???

I thought Id being feeling more by now (3rd pregnancy) but I think this baby is stubborn. I felt flutters about 13 weeks then they stopped (baby is fine) I think baby moved back or something bc they have been having trouble finding heartbeat (its fine when they finally find it).
