So how many of you are having a baby shower? I really want to have one for this baby since the one for dd sucked really bad. It would be nice to have a fun shower. :-)

No shower for us but we are going to do a meet and greet after s/he(I'll be glad when I dont have to do this anymore) is born. Also at DS's birthday party we will be announcing to everyone and we are encouraging the gifts to him and sibling to be books and gift cards. So we dont have to deal with a bunch of stuff.
My girlfriends on our street will "sprinkle" me. Which means, get together for an afternoon of drinking for everyone else. I'll get clothes and diapers. There is a group of 5 of us and I'm the 4th to have a second baby and this is what we have done for the other 3 this last year.
I had quite a few (4!) showers for DD, all but one a surprise. I apparently give off an "I don't want a shower vibe" and have lots of small groups of friendsThey were all really nice. Although my mom threw an 'online' one for me with her friends via skype and my hubby didn't even warn me! I was in pajamas and hadn't showered, ugh! They had sent the gifts to his workplace and watched me open them over the computer. Awkward! I think they had fun hanging out though.

I have had a couple friends talk about throwing me a "sprinkle" but we really don't need that much considering we're having another boy. So it wouldn't matter to me if I didn't have one this time around. We will probably also do a meet and greet later in the summer so people can come over and meet the new arrival!

It's doubtful and I'm not sure how we'll swing a meet the baby since we are likely moving 12 hours away within two weeks of the baby being born.
Jessica (32) and Ryan (31). Madelyn born August 5, 2009 and Malachi born December 23, 2010. Lost a loved baby 02/29/12, 05/14/12 and 07/05/12 all due a serious allergic reaction to fabric softener.

My MIL and a couple of my girl friends have mentioned a baby shower. They all say they dont know who to invite though. I guess i'm just going to have to give them all a list of my friends/familys numbers and let them take it from there
