Default Pain under the ribs and tightening

    Hi ladies,

Last evening I experienced a muscular pain under the right side of my rib cage, it still persists as of today. It coincides with me starting exercise and walking too.

Also I notice my tummy tightens up totally after an half hour walk. Or if I do household work. Does this mean I should drink more water and relax?

funny you should ask because all day yesterday I was having the same feeling below my ribs! but it was on the left side and towards the back a little, but I'm not sure if baby girl was kicking me or sitting in a funny position to cause it? Sorry I couldn't be more help but I hope you feel better!

Most likely its a combination or normal pain/stretching/baby growing....and with the tightning, possibly braxton hicks contractions. Yes, drink more water and rest....when you start to feel the pain with the tightning, stop what you're doing (if possible) and drink some water and put your feet up...if they don't go away within the hour, I'd either call or go to L&D.

The pain under the ribs is gone and so is the tightening since I am drinking water all day!
