Smile Before the Baby comes I...

So thought it would be fun to make our lists of "before baby comes tasks" Some of you ladies due the first few days in March don't have much time left!!!

My list is pretty short considering I am a SAHM and did not enroll in Masters Courses this semester.

    1. Take state Admin. licensing exam by March 1st
    2. wash G-diaper inserts
    3. organize changing table to accommodate Brooke and Preston
    4. Organize MY laundry and master closet (its really bad!!!!!! but DH is the culprit too)
    5. Make a Wal-Mart trip to grab postpartum necessities (pads, cleansing wash, nursing pads)
    6. Pack hospital bag
    7. install car seat base
    8. Do a good deep cleaning around the house (help rid any hiding germs and give me a chance to rest when getting home postpartum)
    9. prepare and freeze a few dinners for postpartum

I think that's pretty much it.... now I just need to keep myself motivated to keep up with daily chores

One thing on the to do list is to finalize a name for the little goober. My husband likes Desmond and Ethan. I like these names too. Going to be hard to decide.

-Decide on names -Organize baby stuff (my baby shower is this Saturday! can't wait!) -finish packing hospital bags -finish my 'birth plan' in writing, print out copies to bring to hospital -practice breathing techniques and other birth related exercises I plan on using during labour. I've been reading a lot of theory, but haven't done much practice. -try to cram in as much one on one time with my 4.5 year old before her sibling gets here! -buy and wrap a present to give to DD at the babyshower, so its not all about the baby. I'm thinking a doll of some sort with accessories. -SLEEP AS MUCH AS I CAN!

My advice...get a pedicure. I hadn't seen my feet in months and they are in sad shape. I also wish I woulda gotten my eyebrows waxed more recently.

Britt, cleaning is a great idea. I stopped home today and it felt great to not have anything to clean up. I'm gonna be worried about germs with my little preemie.

Getting sleep is my other advice. Even with Parker in the nicu I'm exhausted from waking up at night to pump, put the milk into the hospital approved storage containers and clean everything up.

OOOHHHHH man that's the other stuff I forgot!!

Get my back adjusted at Chiro (we shall see if this helps compared to my other natural births, I've never been professionally adjusted)

    Get a prenatal massage

    Get a pedicure

Buy gifts from Preston to Tristan and Brooke to be given in the hospital

Figure out a middle name! (Which will probably not happen until the hospital when the Birth certificate lady is breathing down our necks like with Brooke, lol)

I wish I could add in the sleep but during the day I'm not tired, plus I have the kids, at nap time (a good 3 hours) I try to fall asleep but I just lay there and get bored. I get an energy boost after the kids go to sleep at 7 because I'm excited to spend alone time with Shaun and lately we haven't been going to sleep until11-12 at night, LOL. kids up like clock work at 7am. I just don't feel tired yet.

Even more funny, I'm not tired but I also don't want to do house work or laundry...I just want to lounge or play with the kids.
