My belly is not looking pregnant yet I just look the same fluffy. When it starts to resemble a baby belly I will start taking pictures.

I'm getting a belly, too. Mine's a gluten belly, though. I'm baking a loaf of bread in there. Lol

I have nothing to show you yet. I'm a two board Mama because my DD is technically in October ... but since it'll be my 3rd c/s I'm certain I'll actually be "giving birth" in September. And then, of course, there's the added excitement of two babies ... so we'll see where I land, but at the moment I'm only 6w2d.

That's what the early ultrasound (5w5d) reported. Two gestational sacs. We go back on 2/27 for a follow up u/s and hopefully get to hear/see the heartbeats!

It does not run in my family. This is completely unexpected.

That's really cool! I always thought it would be neat to have twins, and then once I had a singleton I quickly changed my tune ... thinking that having twins after having a singleton would be my worst nightmare because I'd KNOW how difficult it was compared to dealing with just one baby.

But, now that it is a looming reality I'm looking forward to the challenge.

    Yes, I agree ... it's a pretty sweet surprise.

Although, I have to say that the decision to have, or not, a 3rd was really agonizing for me. I kept thinking "this could be really life changing, am I going to 'ruin' my family as it is?" So I kinda felt like something big was coming and so I didn't completely freak out when my doc said "It looks like twins!" ;)

That is just really incredible! Tbh, I kept feeling like I was having twins as sick and different as this pregnancy has felt.

I am so excited for you, and this will just be your new normal! We will all have learning curve ahead of us in about 6-7 months! Yippie!

I was 2 1/2 when my brothers were born. My mom had 3 kids under 3 and no family remotely close. I have no idea how she did it!!!

Thankfully my mother lives with us! So I'm way calmer about it than I would be otherwise. At the same time as I say that, though, adults will now be outnumbered by children in this house, so that's a little unsettling. Whenever I spoke of a 3rd pregnancy I kept saying "We'll still be man-on-man defense." Now we're completely ZONE.

    Best laid plans, right?
