    Default What number baby?

    This will be our second!

My son Nolan just turned 2 on February 8th. We STC him, so this little surprise has kind of thrown us through a loop!

It took us 5 years to conceive ODS, and now we're on to babies #3 and #4!! Our littlest DS is 21 months.

This is number 5 for us. When the baby comes our others will be 6, 4.5, almost 3, and 1.5. The Dr told me when we got married in 2005 that I probably wouldn't be able to have kids on my own. The first couple were complete shocks because I believed him - aka we weren't doing anything to stop it. The next couple happened despite my best efforts to spread them out more. This time I just resigned myself to the fact that God has a plan and I'm just along for the ride. ;) I feel at peace that this is how it was meant to be and believe that if He brings me to it, He'll bring me through it. And He knows He'll have to because I'm sure not ready to do this on my own.

Nolan isn't PL yet either, I'm hoping we are least 'somewhat' PL by time this LO arrives. Having two in diapers full time is A LOT of diaper laundry!!

Well don't stress too much on the potty training...my daughter will be 3 in sept. and I do hope to make advances but she is no where near ready yet...

With the diapers we have these days, kids just aren't made to feel uncomfortable sitting in their pee. If you are really concerned about PT, try switching to cloth for a bit beforehand. I've heard that helps. Elliot was 3y2m when he seemed ready and it wasn't a huge deal. We're still using pull-ups at night, though.
