    Default 7 more days

until I'm 40 weeks pregnant This is nuts to me! I never thought I would get here lol For some reason I'm always convinced that my children will stay with me until they are 5 years old (Just being an over dramatic pregnant lady I think) But this means that at the most I have 2 weeks left before I meet baby girl because I KNOW she isn't going to be 2 weeks late.....at least I'm praying she isn't two weeks late lol
But I have NEWS! I don't go to the doc until Friday(and that may not happen since I don't have anyone to watch the kiddos at this very moment) but I lost my mucus plug on Sunday! It was kind of weird that it happened because it happened very slowly with my other two so it wasn't a big deal to me. But to lose it in one shot was shocking. Anyway no contractions just BH that have slowed down so that's disappointing but I'm hoping for some progress at my next cervical exam.
Well thank you ladies for your sympathy when you found out I got the flu. MAN does it suck. I have never been more sick while I was pregnant. My fever has left me and now I'm just dealing with trying to get my appetite back, a cough, and a nose that is dry one second then clogged the very next. My youngest also got it pretty bad so we have been healing together.
Can't wait to see who goes next hooray for February babies!!!

I predicted the 10th right?? We shall see I guess. I also lost my plugs with Tris and Brooke slowly throughout the day, but always went into full active labor 2 days later. Gross to see the plug plop out all at once?

I can't believe you're almost done!! Yay! When are you planning your baby party.... Just cause I was thinking of March 23rd for Preston

I predict you have that baby on Feb 12. God willing!! Keep us posted.

Glad to hear your flu is getting better. It's a nightmare to be sick and 9 months pregnant.

Hey Britt! Yes you did say the 10th. I'll take it! It was pretty gross to loss it all at once but not as bad as I thought. I was expecting some kind of alien looking thing with blood and all that but it wasn't even a big deal lol Although I took it as a good sign because I really don't want little miss to go over two weeks late. I'm planning my shower for March 2 Oh and I LOVE the name Preston by the way. The invites should have gone out a few days ago. Miss you tons lady I hope your belly is coming along nicely.

Oh my goodness it is a nightmare! It's even worse because now I need Hannah to wait until the family is healed to be born. I don't think I could handle a newborn with the flu. It would kill me to see her stay at the hospital or have to go back! So looks like we have predictions for Feb. 10, 12, and 22(my mom).

Now it's my turn to say 7 more days til 40. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by.

You are officially 40 weeks today!! Do you feel different? I have this corny day dream in my head, that 40 weeks descends on Faery wings to the sound of Angelic singing and suddenly we feel magically different.

I guess 40 weeks more or less clomps in on swollen feet to the sound of 3am QVC.... but it's nice to think of what it means! It means you made it! Your baby will be born any moment now. She is a For Real Baby truly squished up inside of your amazing body. What cool thing.

Yay 7 more days for you!! You could go at ANY moment also Two more days until the 'due date'!!
I think I'm just more restless. Today I woke up and felt better then I have in weeks.....it's a good thing I guess.....I mean does that mean no progress has been made and I should just enjoy being pregnant for another week(with a little less rib/back pain) or does it mean this is the calm before the storm??lol
I love your version of what 40weeks should look/feel/sound like lol
My 40 weeks looks like my house exploded, feels like baby is holding on for dear life, and sounds like a 2 year old who will be really sad to share my attention with a new born hahaha

I am so close to 40 weeks!!! I lost my mucus plug today and no joke, it was the size of a racquetball. So dang gross. Not bloody at all. Not even pink tinged. Just a glob of disgustingness. Nothing has changed with my contraction pattern and no cramps since my Monday cervical check. My midwife will be out of town on Sat-Mon so I'm really really hoping to go before then!!!!

Chels- I think that waking up feeling better than you have in a while is a sign that baby is descending and engaging. (dropping, lightening, etc)

I felt like that since day before yesterday and it kind of freaked me out after the first day. The baby felt soo small, I got worried that maybe her fluid was low. Most of what I read said first time moms are the ones who drop early, and moms of many experience the dropping right before labor... But my doc assures me that she's seen moms of many have babies drop and engage over a week before the Big Day.

The good news is your baby is getting ready to meet you!

LSV- You are so close! Losing that much mucus at once is a great sign. (Mine has only been coming out in pieces, YUCK)
We should all take Ozzy's advice and spend the next few days lounging as much as possible, enjoying these last moments of pregnancy. Today I plan to stare at my tummy every time I pass the hall mirror. Try to get an imprint in my mind and remember how amazing I am that I can create a life inside of me. Our pregnant bodies are glorious!
